A great village pub, a warm welcome & good food at a very competitive price. Definitely the change of chef has improved the food quality, clearly having an understanding on local trade makes a difference. We'll be back without a doubt!!

We live yards from the pub. Handy if we want a few drinks as a family. Nice garden seating area (subject to the weather!). Haven't eaten there for a while but in the past the food has been to a good pub standard though it seems quite popular now so they may have upgraded the chef!

We ate here last night as part of a large group. The food was fantastic and the service excellent. I don’t think I’ve ever had a better steak the meal was faultless. Delicious wine too. The size of the portions were awesome we were all stuffed! You don’t really get pubs like this any more- a real gem!
