Can't comment on the rooms as we didn't stay over night, but popped in for beer and a meal.Good pub grub, friendly fast service and a great atmosphere.Still weird to find a pub tucked away in the middle of a housing estate, but I'd definitely visit again.

Came here for dinner on a Sunday night, good choice of meals including various roast dinners. Service was polite, and reasonably quick considering the number of people in the pub. Cost is about yhe same as everywhere else these days, portions could be a bit bigger though to make it better value.Would visit again if in the area though.

Had a fantastic 'small plate' roast this evening - (very nice to offer this smaller option to all, any ages). Great service all round which is also impressive as my friend and I were sat outside. Special thanks to our server Marissa who was very attentive and super friendly thank you.

We are staying near Honiton on holiday and after a quick Google of local dog friendly pubs we spotted the Heathfield Inn. Booked a table for 3 of us with our pooch in tow earlier this week.  …

Probably the worst roast beef we've ever tried, completely inedible, the knives couldn't even slice it, the sinews through it were that bad. Fairly sure the roast potatoes were frozen too. On a positive, the vegetables were very nice , the cheesy leek bake being the highlight of a very disappointing visit.

Had 2 roast dinners and a side of pigs in blanket. Will not be back. Meat was dry. Food was tepid. Veg wasn’t seasoned and also tepid. …
