This is a good honest pub, no frills and perfectly positioned on the quay at Clovelly. The menu is quite small, but I think this enables the chef to ensure the highest standards and super quick service. The staff are friendly and welcoming, highly recommend.

Stayed overnight for our wedding anniversary. Traffic on the journey caused us to miss our dinner reservation - no issue for the staff: we were comfortably fed and watered, even though we arrived late.Stayed in Room 18, the Sail Loft. Absolutely beautiful with stunning views. All staff we met were welcoming and helpful, we never felt rushed. Recommend the hotel to all ages and stages!

lovely setting and really friendly bubbly staff, but cheesy chips were over £5 and served in a polystyrene burger box, we thought for the price they may be a decent portion size. we also had garlic bread which was massively over priced.
