It was my first time in Dawlish on Sunday. I am a lady of 64 year's and I and my little dog Billy lost my family on a day out. I had recently hurt my ribs and was on really strong medication. …

Negatives: Loud music until 11.00, no mention was made when booking. Room 5 has no ventilation.Positives: Room 3 was clean, comfortable bed and window that opened. Toilets were clean. Wash basin in room was clean. If you want a room in Dawlish and don't mind loud noise this is an ok option. Good location for the station, high street and sea. Will not be returning.

Positives: clean room, comfortable beds. Sink in most rooms. Tea and coffeeaking facilities.|Negatives: very loud music until after 11pm from the pub until late.|Room 4 has no ventilation and very little head room.|If the venue had mentioned the loud music we could have made a choice. The review would then be 3/5

Terrible place, don't go here! I could literally feel the extremely loud music in my bed. At 10pm I asked how long that would still last. Reply: "Are you in room 1? Until midnight", smiling. Then I booked a room in a different hotel for that night. On top of that: asking 60 pounds for not a good bed in a very small room and a shared camping shower that was not clean, is already way too much. But not caring about your guests' sleep is the most terrible service I've ever had.

Bed head held together with string. On the last morning, there was no hot water (as in no water at all) in bedroom or lavatory.Very noisy disco till late.Tiny shared lavatory cubicle.Shared shower cubicle had nowhere to hang or stow towel and clothes, so stuff got wet.Fire door marked "Fire Door Keep Closed" was wedged open. Even though I removed the wedge and closed the door, it was later wedged open again.

The landlord is an absolute tube, he and his staff have no customer service skills, typical back street pub with a wannabe plastic biker behind the bar who has no idea how to make drinks that aren't from the pump. …
