Our room was absolutely beautiful. Great spot on the high street. Lovely reception area. While the staff on reception and reception bar were great, the service on the roof top bar was poor and let the hotel down. Unfortunately our room also wasn’t serviced and we weren’t the only guest who experienced this - others reported this at reception.Overall, a beautiful hotel.

Such a wonderful stay. We checked in very late from a wedding. Amy , the night staff guided us to the hotel and helped with parking and check in . She also sourced us some decaf tea.  …

✨Unforgettable Hospitality - A Truly Exceptional Stay!✨From the very moment we stepped through the doors of this lovely hotel, we were warmly greeted by Jo, an extraordinary member of the reception staff who instantly made us feel beyond welcome. Jo’s genuine smile and friendly demeanor set the tone for our entire stay, making us feel like valued guests rather than just another check-in.Every time we passed through the lobby, we were met with the same warmth and enthusiasm. Whether it was offering suggestions for food, recommending things in the area, or simply checking in to see how our day was going, Jo consistently went above and beyond to ensure our stay was nothing short of perfect. Her thoughtful attention to detail and eagerness to assist truly made a lasting impression on us.It’s rare to find someone who embodies the true essence of hospitality, but this staff member did just that, and more. You cannot train what Jo brings to your hotel team bless her ✨She was not only professional and efficient but also radiated a kindness that made us feel right at home like we were visiting a best friend. Her impeccable service and genuine care for our comfort made all the difference, and we can’t thank Jo enough for making our stay so memorable. We look forward to returning soon and it’s thanks in large part to this incredible individual. And hope to be greeted by that same welcoming smile. A heartfelt thank you for making our stay so special! ✨

Hotel is in a great location, we travelled down for our son’s graduation luckily there is a car park 5-10mins away so we didn’t have to walk far with our luggage. Hotel is beautifully decorated, staff are friendly, very clean. The reception area gets busy which is only a small area. The first room we were given was small with a view of a brick wall. We returned to the reception and explained that we paid for a king, they came and viewed the room and agreed that it was the wrong size and immediately moved us to a bigger room with a view. The rooftop is a cute location, nice view of the cathedral however the service was very slow. My husband ordered drinks which didn’t arrive, maybe some more staff would be beneficial. The dinning area was pretty, food was pretty standard. The waitress did forget our bread rolls and extra glass that was missing from the table, she was forgetful on the drinks order but was very polite and bubbly. The spa is a lovely, had a massage and facial with Nelle, she was amazing! Friendly, welcoming and professional. I’ve a few knots in my back and she certainly got them out. Overall it was a pleasant visit.

From the minute we arrived and greeted by the lovely reception staff. They offered us prosecco and sweets whilst checking in.The room was amazing and spotless. The cocktail bar on the roof offers a nice view and great drinks. The staff up their have great knowledge of drinks and make bespoke cocktails if you ask nice. Also gave us good information on places to go eat and drink. The owner was very friendly and even went out of his way to get some mint so i could have a mojito. Would recommend a stay here. Make sure to find parking before as its a city centre hotel.
