Nice place but it has so much more potential than how it's currently being used. Food menu was also very limited, had run out of alot of options and it took 45mins to arrive to the table.

We arrived when the club/restaurant/bar was shut, so it was very quiet. Only seemed to be one member of staff on duty to check us in.Room was basic but clean. Unusual set up but breakfast was good with lots of choice.

Do not come here.Probably one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed at . Location is not ideal. Very loud music being played at night with not a single member of staff around!!! Breakfast very minimal. Staff don't seem to exist in this place when you need them. Rooms very small for the price you pay. You can't even play golf as a guest they don't let you hire equipment. Useless establishment. Just save yourself time and go elsewhere .

Great place to stop. Lodge with a jacuzzi was lovely. We were travelling to Cornwall from Birmingham and this was just perfect, straight off the M5 onto the A30 and then great to get Cornwall the next day. Clean and well equipped lodge very warm. It has a small hotel bar and restaurant. Games room and small farm ( goats and chickens) but the kids enjoyed it. It is a golf club which you can pay and play and they also have a virtual golf course at £20 per hour. I would recommend

We hosted our annual golf tournament (30 golfers and 50 evening guests) at Fingle this year- we’ve held it at numerous courses in Devon over the last 6 years and have never experienced the level of hospitality/support we received from Kirsty and James.Nothing we asked for was too much trouble for the team, they truly went over and above to ensure our day and evening went smoothly.Comms ahead of the event were great and meant we arrived relaxed on the day, safe in the knowledge that everything was in hand. The team also had a wedding going on at the same time elsewhere in the hotel but at no point did we get the feeling they were stretched or prioritising the other event over ours.If you’re looking for a place to hold any event, look no further- Kirsty and the team are some of the best in the business!

Didn't actually stay on a golf break, but as a centre of Devon point, easy access, even after reception is closed for the evening. Room was clean, tidy and reasonably well equipped. Breakfast very good, and staff were polite, and knowledgeable on the area.I took a quick walk around about half a dozen holes on the course as I do play, and next time we use Fingle Glen I'm definitely bringing my clubs, the course is hilly and will test your calf muscles as well as your game.
