First time I’ve stayed at Blythewood - would I stay here again? Absolutely. ||This is the 4th time I’ve stayed in Coleshill for work - and I’ve finally found somewhere I’d stay again. …

Breakfast room great and really appreciate having something to eat before leaving at 5.30pm. However we had a single size room with two beds fitted in apart from each other.  …

I came across Blythewood Guest House while searching for a hotel as I was attending an event at the NEC. Recent reviews were good and one in particular stood out from single female traveller who said she felt safe here and thats how I felt. I was greeted by Jane on arrival and although I didn’t see her again before I left, I knew nothing would be too much trouble if I needed anything. My room was very comfortable (bed & duvet were lovely) and had everything I needed. The breakfast room is good, there was fresh fruit, yoghurt, cheese bread, butter and eggs and a few tinned items, open 24 hours. Blythewood is in a great location, just 10 mins drive from the NEC and theres plenty of places to eat just around the corner. Would happily book here again

This was perfect for attending a business event near NEC, since it's a short drive away but a peaceful village feel. Guesthouse is in a great location, and is very peaceful and quiet with helpful owners who are there if you need them but otherwise leave you alone to do your own thing.I like the laid back feel of being able to serve myself in the breakfast room. And for an evening meal, it's great to have the microwave and the fridge in the breakfast room, so I could take my own food to heat up - saves the hassle of having to find somewhere to eat.Thank you for a comfortable stay.

Little old and tired. Dripping cold tap all night. No bedside light. In room 2 light over bed in corner not working. The cold tap in sink dripping needs washer.

Cozy and very pleasant place. The advantages include: silence, beautiful surroundings and a nice owner. I prepared breakfast myself, having a fully equipped kitchen and a full fridge. I sincerely recommend this place! Honestly, everything was fine. In case of any problems, I was able to contact the owner via WhatsApp.

I work in the area regularly and as a solo female traveller I feel safe here. The area is nice, away from the busy area but the town centre is walkable. …

We really enjoyed our stay here. Beds comfy. Hosts very friendly. Good off street parking. Breakfast is go in and help yourself in the kitchen which gives a very informal and flexible vibe. There is melon etc prepared in the fridge for you. Walking distance to local restaurants. Good info guide in the rooms.
