I stayed for 2 nights solo for work and the staff made me feel so welcome. The lady who works in the restaurant with brown short hair and glasses gave really good service as did the young lad at dinner. …

It’s a shame but it’s not up to a four star standard would put it at two at the best we have stayed for two nights , first night as soon as we entered the room it smelled very badly as they have charged us extra for a dog to stay obviously wasn’t cleaned properly no toiletries left and the meal in the evening was substandard, in the morning went down for breakfast which was at a good standard unfortunately whilst waiting for toast I was greeted by a mouse , reported straight away to a member of staff who did absolutely nothing about this. Will never be recommending or returning here.

My husband and I stayed to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. The staff were very helpful from the very first time we contacted them via email to arrange the booking with Roxanna. Our evening meal in the restaurant was superb. In fact I would say it was the best meal I have had in many years. I highly recommend the herb crusted lamb and both my husband and I agreed that the sticky toffee pudding was pure heaven.Geeva & Gael were very attentive serving staff and very pleasant. We chose to have a few drinks in the bar and again, Ashley the barman was a delight. Attentive, pleasant and friendly.Overall it was a thoroughly enjoyable stay and we look forward to staying again in future

Went here for a wedding. Nice location but just a bit tired. A little bit soulless in the restaurant with hard floors. Staff were all good though across the board.Never used the leisure centre but it looks nice through the window.Wedding ceremony room was very nice as was the evening room.Drinks very expensive in my opinion (£12 for a glass of average Malbec, £9 for a vodka Red Bull). Evening meal was OK but expensive for what we had. Waitress very good, but overworked.

Tired and in need of an update. Attended a business conference here overnight. Decor quite dated, dinner was nice but the lunch options were a bit eclectic.  …

My husband and I recently booked 3 nights with you. We were driving across from Germany for a wedding in the area. Unfortunately our arrival was delayed and we were not able to arrive until the 14th August.  …

Very disappointed with afternoon tea for 50 charged at £29.95 each. This was organised as a wake, coffee and tea was served in "builders mugs" with wooden stiring stick, just what older guests want, cups and saucers did turn up after a delayed response to my request.Order two Gluten free servings, after much confusion was told the rye bread was one option, rye bread is not Gluten free. Then two rounds of Gluten free bread salmon sandwiches turns up. You get more in a Greg's meal deal! Total rip off and the confusion left the two guests in doubt about being Gluten free. All through this runraveling disaster no management came to see me.Very poor service, totally over priced and nothing like the service of the past. Will never go again and as a local, I'm sure others will not either.
