This is a four-and-a-half star review. I stay in lots of hotels for business and leisure and usually find something to commend. In the case of the Limes, there was plenty to commend. …

The room was great. It was very spacious and well equipped with plug sockets either side of the bed. The bed itself was comfortable and large. Breakfast was average though service friendly. Check in and out was fine and friendly. Overall good value and conveniently located.

I stayed overnight solo as a rest overnight for a long journey. The staff were attentive and helped me quickly giving me the key to room 9. They asked me if I was with the evening party and I said no. …

We had our wedding here the 3/8/24First of all, the venue is beautiful for an outside wedding and very reasonably priced. We booked our wedding 2 years in advanced, great communication throughout.Only things I would change-The rooms didn't have air-conditioning, the day of the wedding was so hot. The windows don't open fully, I was sweating before I even left the room. Felt very suffocating, didn't enjoy the experience at all. I wish I had someone to explain how the day would run, I didn't see anyone until 1pm when we were getting married at 3. Even then the day wasn't explained which left me anxious. The staff are amazing. Kerry ran our day, went smooth without a hitch, food was beautiful.Thank you!

Room was pleasant enough, but with no view, all I got was a view of a roof with raised glass skylights. Was glad I was only here due to work and not for a trip away. The staff I spoke to were friendly. It’s been a very hot week and when I asked for a fan was told they only had a couple on site and they have been given out so was a very warm and slightly uncomfortable night. So if you are coming in summer bring your own fan the rooms are very hot or at least mine was due to bring upstairs in the roof. Would stay again but please get fans in all the rooms. There’s mini fridges that must cost so much more.

I had a voucher for a nights stay and chose The Limes as it was convenient for me to meet my friend there. We both loved the hotel and the staff. The staff were funny, very helpful and went out of their way to give us ideas and directions of places to visit. There was lots of activity with a wedding, an 80th party, a christening etc but at no time did we feel pushed aside.Highly recommend the hotel
