Very comfortable rooms. The bathroom and shower is also great, especially after a long flight. The location is ideal as it's a bit outside of the main city centre but certainly walking distance. …

Rooms felt a bit worn - we were in a basement level room, so the natural light was a bit limited. However, it was very spacious with nice linens, very quiet, decent water pressure. The hotel lobby and bar area had a great ambience. Breakfast was self serve - I would probably prefer to skip this breakfast next time. Hotel is in a quiet location near the heart of Edinburgh with great views.

We stayed here for five nights during October half term and couldn’t be happier with our stay. All staff - from the reception to the bar to the restaurant to the housekeeping - couldn’t do enough for us from the moment we checked in until check out. The hotel is situated on a gorgeous cobbled street, which is especially nice lit up at night. The rooms are elegantly decorated and have everything you could need for your stay. Breakfast is a little expensive but if you have a big appetite it’s more than worth it. We were both pleasantly surprised at the quality of the hotel restaurant’s food. We ate at some great restaurants during the week but our meal in the hotel topped them all. Some small details were slightly off (the general window area needed a good sprucing up, the iron was leaking water, the shower head was wonky, and the bed, albeit extremely comfortable, wasn’t a full-sized double) but overall this was the best hotel we’ve stayed in for the price and we will definitely be returning next time we’re in Edinburgh.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The service was a bit stagnant (as in it was difficult to actually find anyone to tend the bar), but when staff were there they were really nice.Honestly one of the comfiest beds in a hotel I’ve stayed in!! Food was great too.

Really lovely hotel! Spacious, clean room that’s well decorated. Also the staff is just so nice and helpful — I had a bit of a nightmare situation with another hotel upon arrival in Edinburgh so it was really nice to check in here and be greeted so warmly by Ellie. Check in was quick and efficient, my room was also ready early. Everyone at the front desk was always super helpful and as many other reviews have mentioned, were stellar all-around. The private courtyard is very quiet and gorgeous, highly recommend checking it out.I stayed in the standard room and the room, as well as the bathroom, were quite large especially for in the UK. Overall a great place to stay! My visit was back in June but the hotel and everyone working there were so lovely I wanted to make sure to leave a review.

Beautiful room but it quickly transpired that we were in the basement under the entrance leading to a lot of overnight noise. …

We were greeted at the reception to Zelal. She made our check in process feel seamless and fast, yet informative.||We got a wonderful room and I must say the interior of the hotel is something out of a movie. …
