Went on a short fishing trip in the area and stayed in the hotel for 3 nights, the staff were just fantastic and couldn't do enough for us, the food was excellent and great value with huge portion sizes, both at breakfast and dinner. …

Very friendly owner and staff, stayed for three nights to do some fishing and couldn't have asked for more. Lovely breakfasts and evening meals. Great banter in the bar if you're looking for the local fishing chat and a superb stock of malts and local beers. Already booked next years stay!

We stopped here for lunch and coffee while on a long-distance cycle. The staff were really helpful and the food and coffee were great. The establishment is generally cycle-friendly and is nicely located when heading North for JoG.

My partner and I have stayed here on a number of occasions because we really enjoy it - the location is peaceful but within easy reach of Wick by car, taxi or bus and Donna cannot do enough to help. …

Friendly sort of place who supported my charitable walk by reducing the room rate by 50%. The room was single and small but it had all I needed and it was clean. In the evening I went to the bar/restaurant where I had a vegan burger.  …
