I was worried after reading some reviews and we did book larger rooms. We could not have been happier with the hotel. Excellent position on a quite street. Room was large, secure, modern and comfortable. Staff helpful and friendly. We booked 2 rooms and one was a little bit smaller so I can understand why some comments about room size but we had 510 and it was a great size.We did not have breakfast first day as some reviews were not good. However after seeing the food on offer for £6 unlimited we had for following 2 mornings and were very happy with it.No kettle in room but complimentary tea and coffee available in bar so not a problem.Would recommend as a place to stay.

Had a great experience! Very centrally located in New Town.Checkin process was very smooth, as was the entire stay for the 2 days we were there.Rooms are quite small though, but if you’re not gonna be spending a lot of time at hotel, it’s not a problem. The hotel does have a pretty spacious lounge room too for guests, with coffee machine, to relax at.If location is key to your visit, must consider this hotel. Walking distance from every major cafe, restaurants and even public transport services.

Very nice hip & reasonably priced little hotel! Loved the stay there and rooms were bigger than I thought for being a 'Hub'. Great hospitality and lobby with complimentary tea and coffee. Walking distance to everything. Liked this chain so much, I booked one in London's Covent Garden right after. Thank you!

Stayed here with my partner, and it felt like the space was too small for the two of us. Most of the room was taken up by the double bed and bathroom. Also feels like there’s little to no privacy when using the bathroom, plus my partner found the shower area to be a little dirty. However, fair dues overall, since it’s a budget hotel room that had everything we needed for a quick stay in Edinburgh, as advertised. In fact, I’m impressed by how much sheer functionality the hotel managed to fit into that small space, from digital light switches to a pull out suitcase space under the bed. The biggest highlight was the hotel’s location, a stone throw from the Royal Mile, train station, and other important city spots. I’d come back mostly for the location.

I have stayed here before, it serves its purpose, beautiful compact rooms with a perfectly adequate bathroom, this time my air-conditioning did leave a smile in the bedroom. …

Pleasantly surprised with hotel! Great concept. Initially walking in the room I thought I wasn’t going to be happy. The rooms are small BUT it literally has everything you need and is very cleverly thought out. Beds are really comfortable, with controls to manage everything you need from lights to heating. Breakfast is £6! It is only continental but great value and endless coffeeCan not fault this place, great location, great staff, cool concept

We stayed here for 7 days and were disappointed when we changed hotels for a 'nicer' place for our last couple nights. The rooms were clean. The bed was comfortable. The location was FANTASTIC; close to the mile without the loudness or cost. The big surprise about the hotel was1) The small coffee shop they have attached to the lobby. The rooms are smallish and only have one seat, but they offer free tea or lattes all day and evening in the coffee shop so we found we ended most of our nights there relaxing after a long day of being out.And 2) The staff. So helpful and kind. It genuinely seemed like they enjoyed their jobs and wanted to make sure you enjoyed your stay. The service was better than at much nicer hotels. What a treat.

First time staying in Hub and we love this place! Compact room, but they got everything well prepared. Need not to worry they have hangers, hair dryers, iron and board on demand. Some adding values for example they do offer free coffee/ tea for guests in the morning (self service at the bar, you can even bring the coffees up to your room to enjoy 🥹💖) and the coffee is amazing! Also, all of the staffs are so friendly and kind enough to help us with our request. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟One more point to highlight is that the lightning in the room. Option to have all lights on, half, sleeping dim mode, or fully closed. How thoughtful! 🥰Never regret we choose to stay with Hub during our 3D2N trip in Edinburgh, keep it up team! 💓
