If you want a cheap place to stay for the night in Stirling... fine. My room was small, doors to rooms dirty and needing refurbishment, the lock on my door mostly hanging off. You have a shared toilet/shower room, no towels provided in my room.

Inadequate. Me and my partner stayed here in september and despite travelling on a budget were expecting better than this. The rooms, although clean, were neglected with a hole in the wall and in the window shutter and paint peeling off the walls. The kitchen was filthy with no cleaning products available for guests to clean up after cooking; what washing up liquid there was had clearly been watered down. There was a bin bag on the floor for a bin and left over food in the freezer. The toilet was clean enough but no hand soap. All in all awful value for money seeing as this was the most expensive hostel of out entire trip. Would not recommend.

We booked for 2 nights at the William Wallace "hotel". Arrived today early. Stood at the door for around 10 mins before someone answered. The door opens to an old staircase and bright orange walls, bare. After going up 2 flights of stairs, the " reception desk" was and old narrow piano. We were told to leave our luggage and return at 2pm.We did so and on our return waited another 10 mins for someone to answer the door. We were shown up more stairs to a very narrow short hall and advised our room was at the end. The room was very sparse, the bed was very flimsy, basic, stark white bedding. The ceiling was badly cracked and the hall smelled musty and damp. I asked about the shower and toilet facilities to be informed they were shared with all other rooms!! This is NOT AN HOTEL!! ITS A HOSTEL AND HAS BEEN USED FOR HOMELESS PEOPLE. We immediately left, booking a Travelodge nearby. How anyone can call this an hotel is beyond me.The only positive thing I can say about this rundown, neglected hovel is that it's location is central. Please do not stay here.

Just across from the train station, big shopping centre down the street. There is one bathroom and shower for all rooms on the floor. The room itself was nice overlooking the side street. …

My wife and I booked this through booking.com and they should be ashamed of themselves. This is clearly a scam - the pictures don't match up with what was presented to us on the day. This place is more like a hostel and that's being generous. Dirty room, gross communal kitchen and broken toilet. I felt unsafe being there and quickly organised other accomodation in Glasgow. Disappointed at booking.com's responses, offered us a few vouchers and a vague promise to look into the hotel and its listing on their website. Do not book in any circumstance, you deserve better!

DISGUSTING, UNBOTHERED AND MISADVERTISED||Please under ANY circumstances do not book here. The journey I’ve had with this Accomodation has caused me absolute hell over the last few days. …

The worst place in the world...The hotel shown in the photos does not exist. To begin with, we had to ring 4 times before hearing from the "reception". The room that was prepared for us was dirty, full of paint marks and stains on the carpet.A green light on all night and impossible to turn off.The bathroom is dilapidated, far from what the photos show us.The walls are so thin between the rooms that we hear others as if they were with us. We heard them talking, watching TV, snoring. When we woke up the next day we realized that there were spaces towards the ceiling because the "walls" are in fact sheets of chipboard. The room overlooks the road where the "kéké tunning" come to make their cars roar and the single glazing allows you to hear passers-by talking, screaming or fighting. The mini fridge sounds like an airplane.

Never ever consider this hotel. The experience is totally horrible and unpleasant, there is no lobby and it took 13 minutes to open the door, the hotel is old, neglected and has an unbearable smell from the moment you go up the stairs to the lobby and the smell permeating the room was what made me I ran to another hotel, as if that were not enough the bathrooms are dirty that I would never even consider entering, I preferred to go to McDonalds. The place has not resolved my refund to this day, which has been 5 days since my stay “began”, which did not happen because the smell did not last more than 20 minutes. Even the person at the other hotel I stayed at told me that it was common to hear people complaining, as a matter of fact I checked two other hotels in Stirling and they were cheaper than this.
