Close to the train station, a short walk. Nice and fast check in by front end staff. The room I had was a twin for myself and looked on to a busy street , a bit noisy. The bed was comfy with a choice of soft or firm pillows.Poorly set up for charging sockets, had just enough room beside the TV to charge my phone and laptop. Bathroom was adequate in size with walk in shower and toilet.Grabbed a pizza from the restaurant before it closed, nicely prepared and enjoyable.Breakfast included in my stay with a choice of continental or cooked breakfast. Very nice bacon with morning roll/softy/bap.

Could not fault this hotel. Stayed here in December last year and wow- what a fantastic location. Right in the city centre allowing you to walk to both the old and new town. …

Nice hotel in the centre where everything seems more or less new. The bathroom fittings looked as if they were fitted in a rush (sink not level/flush against the surface it was fitted too + a small leak in the shower try that was visible on the skirting board in the bedroom area) but otherwise the room felt good quality. Trust them when they warn you that the breakfast bar gets busy at peak times!Excellent location - very convenient to the tram stop and a short walk to the attractions. Welcoming and helpful staff.

Our party of 5 girls had a lovely 2 night stay in this Holiday Inn . Food and rooms were great . After an incident with one of our party the staff especially Robert could not have been more helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. |Hotel is very well placed across the road for Pavilion theatre, across the road

Housekeeping service was excellent. Food, good and was as expected. ||Service: Horrible||The attendants at the frond desk(s) are like ZOMBIES and look petrified until one interacts with them. Then they come to life. …

Not worth $400+ USD per night. Great location but rooms are dirty. Carpet is blue close to the walls but down the center where you’d walk the most and in between the beds is brown with dirt. Carpet hasn’t been shampooed in who knows how long. There’s also mold in the bottom of the showers in the corners. The rest of the room appeared clean. Breakfast was pretty slim for the price we paid to stay.

The location is perfect. Although located in the New Town, it’s only a short walk into the Old Town and the Royal Mile. I walked safely from the hotel to Calton Hill , Holyrood Palace, Edinburgh Castle , the Parliament Building and all sites in between . There is a tram stop to the airport right outside the hotel.

Was a nice hotel. The staff were very helpful and breakfast was a great spread of food. |The room was small but comfortable. Surprising not a lot of noise at night!|Hotel was in a great location close to many sights and only a 10 minute walk back to the main downtown tourist area.

Very basic hotel. The rooms are very simple but oke. The view that we had (room 404) was at the back so not that great. The worst thing was that at the back there is a Chinese restaurant and the smell was all over the room. …
