We came on a coach trip. Gave us the key to the room and entered. For the amount of time we were there(2days)it was ample for us. Staff were really genuine and friendly. The food was fantastic. Prawn cocktail starter, fillet steak stroganoff and red velvet cheesecake. Will recommend this hotel to our friends that are up this area all the time. Will definitely be back

Really good hotel with nice rooms, a cosy atmosphere and very friendly staff. It's not far to the next beach, lighthouse or the ferry to Orkney. But the best was the excellent food! Best dinner on our round trip through Scotland so far! The breakfast buffet is not that big but has very good choices and quality, for example lots of fresh fruits. We can only recommend it!

Had to find emergency accommodation after Direct Ferries booked me on a ferry that didn't exist. This local hotel was great. Busy, too. Inexpensive. Free parking. £3.90 a pint. Nice staff. No problems. Ate too much breakfast. The room was tidy, comfortable, and everything worked.

Lovely hotel, comfortable clean room. Meals were really good. Staff were helpful & friendly. Only downside is the access to upper floor, no lift, just stairs which could be difficult for anyone with limited mobility.
