We booked the Alyth Hotel Restaurant for a large family group dinner party with very short notice in the summer. Alisdair and the whole team were exceptionally helpful and welcoming. The menu was great and suited everyone in our group - including vegans and vegetarians. Everyone enjoyed their food, and the wonderful service. The atmosphere in the restaurant and bar is top notch. We'll definitely go back. Thank you all very much.

The owners have done a fabulous job renovating this hotel and it looks like they’ve spared no expense. Having visited the hotel in its previous guise, the transformation is spectacular and you’d hardly recognise the place. …

What a great must visit hotel in the market town of Alyth. Fab location overlooking the river with its pretty little bridge decorated with seasonal flowers to the Market Square. The decor in the hotel and rooms is quite unique a very creative mix of art deco with reclaimed early and mid century furniture. I love how the owners have also skill-fully managed to refurbish and retain many of the original features of the hotel. The attention to detail in all the little things like the fittings, the tiling and the artwork on the walls just brings it all together and makes it work. Comfortable room had a great sleep and loved the view from our room and the powerful shower. The owners Hazel and Alisdair are very welcoming and all the staff are friendly can’t do enough. We booked B@B but also had dinner which was absolutely delicious lots of choice including tasty vegan options. Breakfast was lovely too beautifully cooked. There is just a lovely atmosphere about the place both in the bar and the restaurant areas. Great place for a celebration. Only booked for one night wish we were able to stay longer to explore local area and will definitely be back. Will keep eye out for Christmas/New Year plans. I’m sure it will be amazing.

Great bar & lounge with friendly staff. Good to see the place alive in the middle of the town again. Looks like a lot of effort has gone into the restoring the public spaces and rooms. My wife loves the tiles, very unique! Can’t wait to come back again.

This hotel is newly renovated and the owners have done an amazing job, breathing new life into this hotel and making into an absolute gem. It seems to be a real hub for the local community to come together and enjoy, the atmosphere in the restaurant was warm and welcoming and the bar was cosy and friendly. But the rooms are a real standout with tasteful decor and quality fixtures and fittings, as good as many boutique 5 star hotels I’ve stayed in. We will return… soon!

Had a great overnight stay here. Very comfy bed in good sized room. Staff excellent. Food at evening meal and breakfast was also excellent. Bar prices on a par with local pub, which was fair.
