This was our first visit for lunch at The Queens Hotel and we chose the two course meal for £11.50. It was a tasty meal with good size portions. Staff were courteous, efficient and friendly. Hotel decor was a bit dated but it was clean and warm on what was a chilly day. Will definitely be back.

Very tired hotel and grumpy staff, especially Fiona who does breakfasts. As a vegetarian there was no veggie option on the menu sat night, I was then offered Mac cheese or an omelette. …

All of the staff were amazing !However in room 24 the bed is loud whenever you move, there's a massive stain on the bathroom ceiling and the taps won't stay hot, they fluctuate which effects the ability to showerPool facilities great !

Lack of beers available in the function rooms. Short of staff. Had to go looking around the hotel to get someone to serve behind the bar at our private function. They had to put beer from another room which made the wait even longer.

Very clean. Breakfast was great. A selection of cereals, yoghurt and juice. Tea and coffee brought to the table along with toast and a fabulous cooked breakfast. Porridge is also available to order. Staff couldn't be nicer. …

Very comfy bed and decent soft furnishings. Quiet despite the nightclub being downstairs. ||Was a little disappointed by the maintenance of the room - leaking shower head, broken toilet seat, tv and shelf. Also up a lot of stairs with poor lighting. Very basic room and not really worth what I paid for it.
