This was a spur of the moment decision to stay here in October. We spent two nights at this property and it has been a great base of travelling through the highlands. The property itself is everything that was shown on the website. The room we stayed in was a deluxe room with an amazing view of the loch. We had dinner in the property both nights (try the pie and the local mussels) and the breakfast buffet was hearty and tasty. Service was very friendly and the spa and pool was a great inclusion. Definitely recommend stay here.

We stayed in one of the older waterfront lodges. The scenery was absolutely stunning and to be able to sit in the hot tub on the balcony was amazing and made our whole experience. …

We stayed for 1 night in August 2024. We were a family grouping of seven adults and older children and we booked one of the four bed “beach houses” with hot tub adjacent to the hotel. …

Hotel in prime location with outstanding views over the lake. Anyway, if you travel without a car, it is not a proper option as the structure does not offer any service for guests that travel without a car. Food is of very good quality and service as well. Staff professional and available. We asked for some things when we were in need and they provided them accordingly. Hot tubes are of very good quality and It really deserves a long staying or at least a day to enjoy them. There is a bus stop in front of the hotel but It has a very reduced timetable. There are some walk paths available from the hotel.Water pressure of showers in the houses is very slow and hot water comes and goes. You pay for a prime location. Breakfast is very scarce. Restaurant offers a good variety of fish and meat dishes and yes, this restaurant deserves a visit.

My fiance and I stopped here to get some food as we saw a sign on the road that said this place served food all day. Not much was open for lunch along the road; it was about 1:30 when we stopped. The food was VERY good. We got prawns that were in this garlic butter - if you like garlic and butter it's amazing. The chowder was awesome too but you have to like fish if you get the haddock chowder. The fish taste however was not overpowering and the soup was almost as good as the clam chowder I grew up with on the coast of New England back in the states. We also got the olive and feta salad and the cheese was incredibly fresh which made the salad amazing. The mussels were the best! What a pleasant surprise this place was and we wanted to give the chef and friendly staff the credit it deserved!! The view was very calming as well - it's right on the water and the restaurant has comfortable seating all along the windows. Enjoy!

We only ate here, we didn’t stay. The restaurant was spacious with beautiful windows overlooking the estuary with cloud and mist shrouded mountains completing the beautiful setting. Our table was right at the window which made for a lovely backdrop. There is outdoor seating overlooking the estuary too but it was quite wet when we visited. The menu had plenty of options, I had the stake and ale pie with chips which was very good indeed! There is a decent bar area, despite not staying here the hotel itself from what I saw with a brief walk around to the facilities etc looks really good! The car park isn’t huge but large enough, there is a decent patch of grass if you need to let your dog stretch its legs before going in; the restaurant is dog friendly too which is great.Based on my brief experience and meal I had, I’d totally recommend a visit.

After a long drive from Isle of Skye and a couple of days eating at different spots around Scotland, we can safely say this was our favorite place to eat! We were well taken care of, the view was amazing and it was the best mussels I’ve ever had! Not just that but our starters and dessert was great as well with very healthy portions! Thank you for an amazing meal!

We had dinner there, staff was super friendly and welcoming. We had the salmon and the burger, the mains tasted great only the sides were a bit bland and cold. It‘s a beautiful location with a nice view, although inside it lacks a bit of atmosphere.
