Staff were nice. Room ok ish. I was aware it may be noisy and it was. Charged 10 pound in morning for a bowl of cornflakes and a brew. As a hotel I would say its not. Its a night club with rooms. Do not, I repeat do not stay here.||As I say the reception staff were very nice. Be careful as your room may not have an on suite.

This was possibly the worst hotel I have EVER been to! I cannot recommend to anyone. Before there was a more obvious notice about the noise levels on Fri and sat night on booking.com, this only appeared in the small print. …

We've stayed here twice before but it has definitely nose dived since then. Place is completely run down, carpets ripped, paintwork all chipped & grubby looking. …

Stayed here with friends at the weekend, but the noise from the nightclub made it impossible to sleep. There is no mention of before booking so I felt compelled to write a review to warn others, particularly if you have children. …

Worst hotel I've stayed in, in a long time. Not worth the £95 paid! ||Firstly when I selected a twin room on this website the picture it showed wasn't the picture of the room I got. …

It's a rough place to stay but not the absolute worst. The weekends are very loud with music and bass coming through the floor and windows, however they do warn you in advance. The bathrooms have no hand towels or floor mats and are often wet everywhere. The drain isn't great either. The area is on a train stop and there's a sink in the room. The kettle was filthy and had mold growing inside and spots. The mugs were crusty and it just seemed like they didn't actually clean the room. I wouldn't recommend it.

Would give 0 stars if I could!First of all, I booked via Expedia which didn’t state the rooms were above a nightclub which is open until 3am!! Me and my partner were placed in room 7 which was right above it! Lucky we got so drunk ourselves we passed out however good luck to anyone wanting a peaceful early night!!Second of all, while me, my partner and family members including my 12 year old niece were sat having some food and drinks in the restaurant. There was some commotion going on with a drunken regular customer who was shouting, swearing etc. numerous times she was asked to leave by management but she didn’t and they didn’t make her leave either as they were all friends with each other! The young lad behind the bar was to focused on the commotion going on instead of listening properly to our food order that he forgot to send the chef my sisters order so when food came she was left with nothing! She didn’t get her food until we were finished eating! He also forgot to give us change for a drinks order and when we asked him for it, it was the wrong amount! At the time my brother made a complaint, they offered the price of our meal back which we said if they would put the funds behind the bar so we can order drinks and they still get the money/custom as we believe in giving places a second chance! They did this and we were happy. However, a few days later I got a call from the manager, she offered my family and I to come back for another meal free of charge for all the hassle we had to deal with that night. I agreed and said we were planning another trip to Loch Lomond soon and would love to give this place another try and hopefully turn our thoughts around about it. The manager said she would email me the details of the offer. 3 months later and I still haven’t heard anything back! After calling a couple of times to make sure she took my email address down correctly! This place has ruined its chances to try and turn my thoughts around and has lost a lot of custom as my family regularly go to Loch Lomond and I have told everyone to stay away from this place to stay, to have food and even to have drinks!!Feel like it’s not in their list of priorities to have good customer service and to keep new customers happy as it seems to be a run down place with the local regulars going in for a drink and a party!

Don't even attempt to book this place. Totally run down and desperately in need of renovation on the room side. Unfortunately, I made a booking, was warned by the receptionist that they'll be music through to 3am and bathroom shared. Condition of room totally unexeptable. Complained to a gentleman on reception who said our reasons were not good enough to require an immediate refund and to take it up with the GM. Of which i will..Appalling service and venue. I will add this to TripAdvisor..
