A+ to this place!! First of all the staff are AMAZING! So nice and welcoming always around if you need anything! Came here with two kiddos under two and it was perfect. The room was much larger than I expected we stayed in the 1 bedroom open concept room - it was awesome! Bonus is that this place is in the perfect location. If you have kids it’s very close to an awesome playground with the castle in the background.

We loved everything about this hotel. The room had an amazing view of the castle. The room was very comfortable, great shower, both the bed and the fold out couch were both very comfortable. …

The hotel is very modern and a little too high tech for a couple of senior citizens. We had some difficulty with using the touch screen lights, window shades and adjusting the water in the shower was a bit complicated.  …

This was my second time in Edinburgh in the past year and this was definitely the better hotel to stay at. Location was near Grassmarket but far enough that the noise level was quiet.  …

We stayed here on a Sunday night, the hotel is located pretty much right behind the castle at low level. It's modern, recently refurbished by the look of it and inside is nice. Staff are all very friendly. When you walk in you pretty much walk Into an open lounge then up to the rooms. The rooms are all like suites with their own kitchens, cooking facilities, coffee machine, dish washer, toasters and so on so you could cook if you wantedThe beds are massive and getting ready is a gift as there are lots of mirrors for the ladies.Would definitely recommend if looking somewhere really handy to stay at a smaller budget

Great location. Nice & quiet. Hotel is more about design rather than comfort. No dedicated or separate reception area is chaotic especially at breakfast. Beds should have bedside tables & lights on both sides of the bed. Our room had paint peeling off the shower roof. Smelly bathroom which they tried to fix. Some of the staff were great. Others grumpy & abrupt. Handy to have laundry. Great location near Grassmarket and walk to other sights.

We stayed here for 2 nights. I found the bathroom a little bit too small. The standing shower was half the size of what we've been seeing through Europe. The kitchenette was well equipped. The bed was also nice and big. Not too soft. I liked that the window blinds could be controlled by the panel next to the bed. The panel was a bit far from the bed for me. The view was not bad. I liked that it was nice and quiet. The location was also pretty good. Right underneath the Edinburgh Castle.Overall - good location, located on a quiet street and the room itself was pretty big/comfortable

Fantastic hotel! The staff were super friendly and helpful, the hotel has a bar/restaurant that stays open late and offers comfortable couches and chairs to sit. The staff helped assist us with coordinating taxis and answered any tourist questions we asked. The hotel is right below the Edinburgh castle, so it's only a few blocks from all the fun touristy attractions. I went with my family and all seven of us had a great time. The rooms were clean and accommodating. One family member had a room where the ac stopped working. The hotel offered her multiple fans, but she really preferred to move rooms (she was dealing with hot flashes), so in the middle of the night they set up a new room for her and helped her move without any complaint or issue. The hotel has a full breakfast you can pay for with everything you can think of. Truly a great way to start off our trip, five stars all around.

Close to the Airlink bus stop, so no vehicle needed to & from the airport. Great Castle views. Breakfast was lovely. Plenty of places to sit and rooms well thought out. Beds are aligned against the wall, so climbing over or scooting to the bottom is a necessary, albeit fun adventure! Walking distance to many things in the heart of Edinburgh. Thank you for a lovely stay.
