Great venue with brilliant views of Loch Broom from the restaurant. Attentive and friendly staff. Food was amazing ( Duck breast with anise jus, seasonal veg and creamy mash) £25 but worth every single penny. …

Stayed here for one night before catching the ferry to Stornoway the following day. Lovely hotel, beautiful setting overlooking the ferry port. Ullapool itself a quaint little town. Our room was very nice, clean and modern.  …

Nice modern hotel with good parking area. Nice outlook to sea. Very comfy bed / pillows. Nice breakfast and bar. Arrival of a cruise ship added some interest in the newly revamped harbour Area. The Loch Seaforth ferry to Stornoway is a super boat to do some sea life watching from. CalMac staff all superb.

This was a quaint hotel with super friendly staff. The dining room was nice and the food was good for breakfast as well as dinner. The dining room overlooked the water so the view was fabulous. The housekeeping staff, as well as the bartender and host were friendly and helpful and made the experience wonderful!

I booked this hotel at the last minute to visit a friend from Ullapool. They had last minute availability for a triple which was perfect. The room is very traditional Scottish old school style but with touches of modern everywhere. Rooms were very clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. Most of all a spectacular view across the loch. Would stay again.

The hotel is quite nice and the location it’s situated in is complimentary. Very pricey for late dinner but that’s okay, the bar has a lovely selection of all sorts of alcohol so cannot fault that. Standard breakfast here though, no buffet. Room was clean, tidy, nice and simple really! The bathroom was like walking into a different modern age though in comparison to the rooms.

We stayed here for three and had a fantastic time. Our room was gorgeous and clean and very spacious, the restaurant was exquisite and our waiters (especially a young Australian woman) were extremely friendly. There are enough parking spots and it’s right next to the Loch and the town. After dinner you can enjoy a pint in their waterfront bar on your own little terrace. We thoroughly enjoyed staying here, the only downside was that our original booking was cancelled without warning because apparently we had to pay in full two weeks before arriving which was our mistake but a little reminder would have been nice. So instead of staying for ten nights we were only able to stay for three, but since we wanted to travel anyways that’s alright. The breakfast in the morning is really good, so make sure to fuel up before taking trips and exploring the region.

Cannot fault this hotel. Check in was very easy. Room was very clean and of a reasonable size. We had the added bonus of our own private balcony overlooking the loch. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent too. Overall very good value money and would certainly stay again.

We stayed one night at the Royal booked by Rabbie’s (tour company) for us. We celebrated our anniversary with our family over dinner in their restaurant. The menu selection suited everyone and the service was outstanding. …

Worst hotel ever. Best thing was that I only stayed one night. When I checked in around 6 pm, the radiator wasn’t even turned on in my room. It was freezing cold. I don’t understand why it wasn’t turned on when they know someone’s checking into this room. It was the middle of October, like mentioned freezing cold outside, that’s a no go.Even after having it on for a few hours the room barely felt any warmer, the hall however was nicely warm perhaps I should have slept there. No chance in getting the bathroom any warmer. A cold breeze came right out of the window frame. Then around 10pm or so the general heating system was turned off, so then the temperature sunk again to a few degrees Celsius, then there’s some ventilation system under the ceiling which blow cold air right onto the bed. I slept with my thick hiking clothes on and still was cold the entire night, woke up with a cold around 3am and couldn’t wait to check out.Breakfast was good though.
