Fantastic atmosphere when we arrived and attentive service. Great quality cocktails made by cocktail waiter. Food menu good choice and quality of food was excellent. Rib-eye steak cooked to our preference exactly. Fresh and great variety. Will definitely be back with the rest of the family.

Stayed for a night as part of a work trip to the area. Although the hotel is located in an odd location away from anything else, this setting does allow for some great views of the estuary. The hotel itself is bright, airy and the staff attentive. The reception and staff at breakfast were particularly pleasant and would try to be as helpful as possible. My room was spacious, well-equipped and the bed was particularly nice and firm. The bathroom looked nice on first glance, but then I found my sink was blocked and leaking over the floor...which didn't get fixed as they said, but this wasn't a huge deal to me seeing as I was overnight. Other downsides were numerous switches which didn't appear to do anything and there was a very bright green light opposite the bed, which was quite disturbing. However, the worst thing was an on-off humming noise from above that kept me awake a fair bit. I don't recall my Aircon being on, so it was quite strange.Breakfast was fabulous, with a great selection of hot and cold food and drinks available as self-service. I wish I could have stayed for more! The restaurant and bar area is pleasant and bright, with views overlooking the estuary.Niggles aside, this was a good place to stay, once you get over the location.

We stayed here for 2 nights as part of a large tour group. This was a very nice hotel. Very modern and clean. Great rooms. Big. Food and service at restaurant was very good. The location is a bit far from central Edinburgh but it was just such a lovely hotel, I didn't mind.

We arrived early cuz we wanted to do laundry. However unless you go to a laundromat the hotels don’t have machines-they send it out. |We dropped ours off later afternoon and they had our clothes returned by the next day. …

The hotel is okay, service at front desk was excellent and so was room service. However the rooms are noisy, walls are not sound proof at all. I kept waking up due to a stairs door that was relatively close and made noise every time someone used it.Location-wise, it's well located between Dunfermline and Edinburgh... but only if you've a car. There is nothing close by that you can easily walk to.Rooms have good view if facing the bridge.Breakfast at the restaurant is okay, 3 out of 5 for me
