My husband and I recently spent 2 nights here and it was everything we expect. It was a quiet getaway on a loch with no interruptions. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. We needed a ride to Invergarry with our luggage to the bus stop and one of the staff members stepped up and took us instead of having to haul the luggage on the rustic path. Supper was always fantastic with local sourced food. Breakfast was more than I thought. There were so many options and the portion of salmon with the eggs was much more than I thought. It was a great time and I hope one day to go back.

This breathtaking accommodation is everything the owners offered in their description! The word "hotel" does not do this special place justice. It is so much more! The grounds are large and lovely with paths to Oich Loch and beyond. …

A beautiful, peaceful old hotel on a large estate next to a loch. The rooms vary quite a bit depending on what you go for, we went for a high end room and it was delicious. Older, comfy style furniture, a good bed, and a brilliant view. …

The hotel is gorgeous and in a great location. The staff was super accommodating and made our stay even better. Definitely try to spend some time in the hotel taking advantage of the common rooms with a wood fire burning or exploring the property!

This is a really interesting hotel. This was one of my stops on the Great Glen Way and is a little over a half mile from the trail down a dirt road. Once you arrive it’s a beautiful old hotel. The hotel is very clean and the views are amazing. The bed was very comfortable and the WiFi was good and no drop off. The staff were amazing and very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is in the hotel and the food is amazing. The Invergarry castle is a real short walk from the hotel to check out. If you want a really old but well maintained with a nice stay this is the place.

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful home! It is a very authentic country house manor experience. The expansive windows look out onto a natural meadow complete with grazing sheep. …

Breaking a tiring journey at this old country house was a traveller's delight. The historic building itself is as remarkable as the friendly service and good food and refreshment. Doing it again on our return journey was doubly enjoyable.

Our stay was fabulous! Travelling with our son and his wife, the four of us could not have asked for a better experience while staying at the Glengarry Castle Hotel - peace and tranquility amongst beautiful surroundings. Yet just a short (about 15 min) drive to Fort Augustus for shopping, restaurants and amenities. The hotel had a calming effect on all of us, especially when we relaxed on the rear terrace with a cocktail overlooking the view of the mountains and Loch Oich after a long day of touring nearby. The hotel allowed us to feel engaged with nature, while taking in several stunning sunsets. It was exactly the medicine we needed and more than we hoped for. The area has plenty of charm and character, friendly people, and easy access to nearby villages. Overall, the Glengarry Castle Hotel is 5 star, very well appointed and has all the amenities you need. If it is peace and tranquility you are looking for and time away from home to destress, look no further. This is the place to stay. We'll be returning!Max
