Had a lovely lunch here, the young lady who served us was friendly and helpful. The dining area looked directly over the sea. Food was tasty and hot, GF option was excellent. The bonus is there is also a lovely cafe for coffee and cake. Would definitely recommend.

We had an evening meal here and the whole experience was great. We were impressed with the cheerful relaxed service we received and the food was well cooked and presented and provided good value for money. We would certainly go back if we are ever in the area again. The beautiful sunset capped off a great evening.

Had a lovely family meal here with nice views over the harbour. The pasta was delicious, large portion and tasty garlic bread alongside, the chips were really nice too, you could tell they weren’t the usual frozen ones. The best meal we had in our few days staying locally.

Stayed here for 2 nights and it was a shame that 1 major issue ruined our stay...First the many pluses:Spectacular sea view from the room,Very clean,Good food at both breakfast and dinner, andGreat staff working here. The major issue was a lack of sleep due to the very poor bed. The bed base and mattress need getting rid of asap and shame as it would have been a 5 star review instead of 3 stars, if we had just slept well.

Went down to Stranraer for the Oyster Festival, we went to the Harbour House Hotel in Portpatrick on 2 occasions for dinner and were not disappointed. The 1st night we were in the conservatory and the 2nd time we were in the bar. If I'm being honest, I preferred eating in the conservatory as it was much quieter. The food was lovely and the drinks were quite nice too.

Came here for food and drinks. Food was very nice with a decent menu choice. Music on both nights we were here and had a fab time on both. Great atmosphere, friendly staff. Only one minor critique, not many proper gin glasses, so being served it in a tumbler.Missus wasn't happy. Definitely the best boozer, restaurant in Portpatrick for me.
