Duvet cover had holes in it. The breakfast wasn't the best. Bacon not cooked. Eggs tasteless. Couldn't get a croissant, asked for one and got told they were finished. Coffee was not nice and only warm. | Evening meal was lovely fish and chips. Very tasty. Tiolet roll holder fell of and hit my ankle.

Went back here after for the first time in ages. And I was blown away with the service and the food. Our server was so nice polite and helpful. And the food was fantastic. fairly priced as well. Great atmosphere also . All in all I definitely recommend going here and I'll be back with the family very soon.

I booked a very late room. The staff made sure I got some food which was very nice as they were closing the kitchen. The room was spot on and decorated to a high standard. Bed was comfy. Only slight down fall was the shower wasn't very powerful. But enough to get me washed. Would highly recommend. Staff were excellent.

We stayed at this hotel as it was close to the Fife Coastal Path which we were walking over the course of a few day. We picked this hotel as it was close to the path / city centre/ beach front.  …

Their hotel nearly killed me.I was sick with fever and flu due to my cold room. This includes, but not limited to: night sweats, vomiting, nausea, cough, chills, congestion, runny nose, sore throat, loss of voice, fatigue, sneezing, headache, inability to stand for long, and inability to sleep, going to the ER, being prescribed medicine, and being urged to vacate or get warm. The heat was constantly off. I told staff for seven days in a row about my situation and that I may need to go to hospital or die if they keep turning off the heat. And it was turned off again after the fact. Arms crossed, I was vehemently denied by two different women to turn it back on. I asked for a blanket too which I could not get. I had to borrow a blanket and bring it to the hotel. I was there for days unable to leave. I was too weak to travel or check out early. I tried one morning and couldn’t even stand long enough to shower. They refused to refund me. My holiday in Scotland was defunct because I was stuck in the hotel trying to heal and get strong enough to leave. What’s sickening is when I said I was going to end up in the hospital or die, one worker defiantly responded, “But did you end up in the hospital or die?!” They kept trying to say I had Covid- all three ladies individually, instead of acknowledging I was cold. I tested negative for Covid. One fiercely argued a person can’t get sick from being cold. When I educated and informed her what the doctor said, she said she wasn’t in the medical field so she didn’t know. Obviously. Their treatment of customers is sub-human. Run. Don’t stay. I’ve talked to locals who said the staff treats people terribly.

Nicely located hotel experience for what we had planned. Our room for a superior room more than enough space. Nice condiment selection clean towel each day we were there. Only a couple of issues was water mark on roof in bathroom most likely been water damage from upper room and also the shower hose was not that great for washing your whole body as was attached to the wall fixture. Service in the Caledonian was excellent food was superb and breakfast was amazing. One other issue plug sockets only usb and not usbc may come amd issue with new phones switching over
