Stayed in the Murray Suite (ground floor at the front).The positive:+Great location+Nice big room, spacious and airy+Excellent shower, spacious and clean bathroom+Good amenities with cofee machine and drinks/snacks in the fridge included (though the fridge is quite loud in operation)+Comfortable bed (can be made up as a Super King or Twin beds)+We were lucky and managed to get a car parking space in the free Murray Place car park (there is also on street parking just outside)The less positive:- Wooden blinds are clean and simple from a design perspective but do not shut light out completely- The only clothes hanging space is over the coffee machine / where the glasses are stored (which resulted in breaking one of their glasses when removing my jacket from the hanger)- No kettle provided - the only way to make tea (which was provided) was using the hot water outlet from the Nespresso machine- A fair amount of road/street noise (mainly from North Street) - would probably be reduced if there were curtains.Would I stay again? Yes. On balance this is a good option for staying in St Andrews. It's not a hotel, as there's no breakfast provision (though there are plenty of options within 50-100 metres), but it is in a convenient location - whether for the University or the Golf. Relatively pricey, but a good size room in a good location.

We stayed in the Wee Double. The good is that it’s a nice remodeled building. The bad is the room is tiny (a shower on a cruise ship is bigger than here), no curtains on the windows and the doors of all the rooms slam shut, loud as heck, so you might as well not have a door because everyone is going to sleep at the same time and waking up at the same time too. The Seagulls are loud too. I couldn’t sleep here, no lie. It’s a nice building but they need to fix the doors and get some curtains. Don’t believe me; you’ll see the face mask and ears plugs on the night stand - ominous warning.

Stunning accommodation and perfectly located. Everything is included, toiletries, room bar, tea and coffee. Super comfy bed and a luxurious feel to all the decor. Top floor is 2 flights of stairs which was fine for us but they also have ground floor rooms for easier access. Highly recommended

What a fantastic hotel!!!! We stayed in the Mezzaine suite and were absolutely blown away by the room. So much space and two floors - absolutely awesome PLUS a private outdoor area. We had so much fun and will definitely be back. Many thanks again for everything!

I was in the Murray Suite for my stay and was not dissapointed, it is as beautiful as the website photos.The beds really are as comfortable as they say and the room is so wonderfully cosy whilst still being airy.I was on a business trip and was delighted to find lots of sockets in the room to charge various tech that travels with me as well as a SMART TV. Towels were lovely and fluffy and the Shower was one of the best hotel showers i've tried, a true pleasure.The staff were lovely and so helpful. as much as I wanted to keep this wee jem under my hat, I've have been recommending this hotel since our stay.

Had a wonderful stay at this luxury property. It's beautifully decorated and incredibly comfortable, especially the beds! I often don't sleep well when I go on mini breaks but these beds are amazing! Excellent self catering with all the comforts from home in an excellent location. Great service from Angus and loved the pastries he delivered, a nice touch. Everything about our stay was wow!

Our 2 night stay at the Andrean Links was exceptional. The room was very comfortable, roomy and well appointed. The staff could not have been more engaging and helpful. The location was perfect for all St Andrews has to offer. I am a high-end traveler and this hotel exceeded all my lofty expectations. I highly recommend staying here.

I booked Andrean House, as a surprise thank you, for close family and friends’ and the property exceeded all expectations.On entering this welcoming lavish town house it was apparent that the owners have put their heart and soul into achieving 5* luxury for their guests.The decor was stunning and bedrooms spacious with the most comfortable beds. The outside garden space was a bonus.The property is very nicely situated with restaurants, bars, shops, beach etc just a few minutes walk away.

Excellent weekend stay at Andrean house with a group of friends. Great location, beautiful and very comfortable accommodation- had a great sleep in the most amazing comfy bed. Very close to lots of great bars, restaurants and cafes and cute boutique and bookshops. The property manager Angus was an absolute gem, going out of his way to make sure that we had an awesome weekend. Can’t wait to go back. Very highly recommend Andrean house!

Hands down the best self catering accommodation I've ever stayed at. The attention to detail is excellent, a real touch of class and luxury. It's the perfect place for a get together with absolutely everything you need. The location is second to none with fantastic bars and restaurants right on the doorstep.
