We got married here two weeks ago and we can't recommend Gaynor and her wedding team enough. When we came to view the venue they made us feel so special and had so much attention to detail from the start. …

Beautiful hotel, nice large comfortable beds, free parking, lovely grounds. Wish we stayed longer, didn't want to leave. The hotel rooms and other areas all beautiful and lovely attention to detail. Shame it's abit too expensive to go back or have the breakfast.

Balbirnie was my wedding venue and I really couldn’t recommend more. Shannon and the team were outstanding from the very start. Nothing was too big an ask and they made me feel so relaxed throughout the whole process. …

We honestly can’t recommend Balbirnie enough – it truly is the BEST wedding venue ever! From the moment we first visited, through all the planning, and right up to the big day itself, everything was absolutely perfect. …

Attended the hotel for a health screen, only to be charged £100 for 49 minutes of parking. Did not see any signs, and apparently its a new thing they introduced fairly recently. Hotel didn't care i was only there for a health screen, and nor did the car parking company. They have now lost my personal and company business. Used to even take clients here, but its gone fully 'commercial' and they clearly don't care about their clientele.

Wow, wow, WOW!! Absolute, beautiful. So relaxing and inviting. Bedrooms were huge and the beds are to die for.....what a fantastic nights sleep. The young members of staff in the restaurant and behind the bar are an absolute credit to you. They were wonderful. Highly recommend to anyone/everyone

Went for a wedding which took place over 2 days. Had a wonderful time, great food, great service, incredible venue. My only disappointment was in the room, number 301. It has no blind fitted to the window, it had been broken because a piece was on the floor. So at 0430 the sun came blaring in. Obviously I asked if this could be looked at the following morning. Was told that someone would do this. When we went back to the room later in the day it had not been fixed but the bed had been made. Spoke to them at reception again but the person who could do something had already gone home. Asked if they had any eye masks available, no! Lots of apologies. However the next morning at 0430 the sun came blaring in again. This was not a cheap room. The food and service were incredible. The staff were all so polite and helpful.I would definitely go again but I would not accept a room without curtains or a blind.

My daughter & I stayed for one night as part of her 18th birthday trip to the UK. We arrived late in the evening with plans to freshen up & head back out. During check-in we were told that our room had been upgraded. …
