Excellent. From check in to check out. All the team were friendly and polite. Fatima, who checked us in , was very professional and polite. Rooms are small but that's what it states but they are so clean, good linen and towels. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Location is very central. Ideal for AO arena. Well done 👍

I booked this hotel last minute as I was visiting family. It was myself and my 12 year old daughter.|The location is great, right in the centre of all the shops and restaurants. …

We arrived before check-in, but the reception staff kindly held our bags for us so we didn't have to walk around Manchester with them. …

Stayed in August 2024.Paid £120 for 1 night, and booked the option for a larger room.On check in we were given an accessible room, which was slightly more spacious, and was told it was like all the other rooms just a different layout in the bathroom. View from the room was not great, see pics. Room and bathroom was clean.Staff were friendly. We used the bar after midnight when we arrived back, which was quiet and cosy.Location was great! We used the car park suggested on the website with the discount code - it was less than a 10 minute walk away.

The hotel was pretty much right in the middle of everything. Brilliant location with a huge amount of amenities. Beds were super comfortable, and above all the staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating. Would very much recommend staying here as the prices were very reasonable.

Great location, very central next to the Arndale shopping centre, nice staff. However, very small room, bathroom was tiny, ripped 2 pairs of jeans on a sharp corner next to the bed, wall mounted TV not in line with the bed which made for a weird viewing angle, limited breakfast options and not great quality. Wouldn't let us check in until we paid upfront, usually hotels charge you on check out?! Absolutely not worth £280 for a night! We paid less for a night at Kimpton Clock Tower the night before. I wouldn't rush back.

A pleasant hotel in a good location but not having phones in the rooms is a safety issue.Liked:This hotel had very comfortable bedding. It's modern with textile accents in the decor, highlighting Manchester's textile history, which I enjoyed. Continental breakfast was good with some variety. Eggs had little drawings to differentiate hard boiled from soft, very cute and informative. When the first room had a noisy A/C fan, staff member moved me to a quieter room, so I was glad for that. It's at a good location within walking distance to the Cathedral, Art Gallery, Chetham Library & more. Manchester has an amazing array of architecture, too.Disliked:I was quite surprised that this hotel does not have phones in any of the rooms! What a hazard & a safety issue, should anyone fall down or fall ill!! For that reason alone, I don't recommend it for older people or persons with disabilities. Or anyone, really. You would have to call the front desk for help and hope they answer, which they don't always. The place is kept very clean but they really need to draw a line on WHEN they do the mopping and vacuuming. It should NOT be during breakfast time and right under our noses! I was also surprised how low down the sinks were, like they were only accommodating children or shorter folks. Very strange.

Location is superb. Very close to Arndale center and is practically downtown Manchester. My room was much smaller than expected and the view was terrible (facing neighbouring building few meters away). I arrived early (about 8:30 AM) on my check in day and the front desk refused to even check in their system if there is room ready for check in. His line was: "the room cleaners arrive at 10:30 and we can't check with them before 1 pm which room is available". So, I left my luggage at their storage and went about my business. When I came back at 5 pm, they told me that all rooms on the front side (with a better street view) are by then gone.Generally, during my stay, I felt their staff would help only within the boundaries of what I can expect per their formal terms and conditions. Going the extra step to make a guest satisfied was not their strategy.

Staff were absolutely incredible help over the course of our stay. They were very friendly and handled our situation with care. Rooms were spotlessly clean and had a very pleasing aesthetic. Location could not have been better and was near everything we could have needed/ wanted.I would never consider any other hotel in Manchester. Really enjoyed our stay here!
