A good hotel for business travellers but I wouldn’t stay more than a few nights. The rooms are compact but clean and comfortable. The biggest selling point is this hotel is quiet! I didn’t hear anything while in my room, and although I didn’t have an amazing view, there was never a slamming door or noise from adjacent rooms. It was peaceful. The shower is as hot as you like it! Beautiful and there are toiletries to use in the bathroom.I found the staff polite but not many of them around and you must engage if you want a conversation. The breakfast was hot and always plentiful even during a busy morning, but I found the coffee from both machines unbearable and the scrambled eggs appeared to be from powder and that turned my stomach.I’d stay here again for the awesome location and the fact I slept so well, but it isn’t always the cheapest!

The room was listed as a queen sized. I beg to differ, and room with a double bed with less than 3ft either side and less than 1ft at the end of the bed is not fit for any queen, let alone a surf. A supposed queen room with a small double bed, not exactly royal. The room service only cleaned and exchanged the towels and toilet paper. The bed was re-made but not changed. On the second day of a 2 day stay, there was no hot water throughout the hotel. Checkout was extended to allow for a reboot of the system. However, after 3 hours, hot water was still not available. I can not stress how disappointed and upsetting it has been to have to travel back to London in these circumstancesAvoid this appalling establishment at all costs. I would never recommend or darken their doors again. It was a truly terrible experience. If I could have given a negative value rating, I most certainly would have.

The service is outstanding at this hotel. Great location and small compact rooms, brilliant shower. Not unfortunately sound proof so If you have noisy neighbours, you have to put up with it, however only on this trip has it happened.

First time here. Nice modern, clean, hotel with friendly staff. Good for a few nights. On arrival slightly surprised to find toilet had been used and not flushed but probably just an oversight. I'd stay again.

I found the hotel to be clean and practical. Check-in was effortless ( though I miss a good reception desk) - the lifts are a bit rubbish, slow, and quite a long wait.  …

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Ibis Hotel, and I must say, the exceptional service I received from Vic at the front desk made my experience truly memorable. From the moment I arrived, Vic’s warm welcome and radiant smile set the tone for my entire stay. Not only was Vic professional and efficient, but they also went above and beyond to ensure every aspect of my check-in was smooth and seamless. What truly stood out was Vic’s attention to detail and genuine desire to help. Whether it was answering my questions with patience, offering great recommendations for local spots, or quickly resolving any minor issues, Vic handled everything with a level of grace and charm that is rare to find.Vic’s ability to balance multiple tasks while remaining composed and cheerful is impressive, and it’s clear they take pride in delivering top-notch customer service. I can't thank them enough for making my stay feel special and personalized. If you’re ever at Ibis, be sure to look out for Vic – their service truly elevates the entire hotel experience.

We arrived in Manchester a bit earlier than planned and popped to the hotel to see if we could drop some bags off, but instead they let us check in to our room several hours early! This was a very welcome plus. The rooms are a great size for a short stay, with some toiletries provided, iron, hair dryer etc. The room had a tv too. Rooms were very quiet and had good A/C.Breakfast was nice with plenty of selection and catered for a range of dietary needs.Would recommend stay here!

The hotel looks great, nice cafe/bar/restaurant, rooms are clean, staff are friendly but I can hear EVERY word of the duo next door, so do not come here if you are on a business trip and need your sleep.  …
