This is a very well priced hotel, our room was clean and comfortable . It’s bang on Canal st so expect the surroundings to be busy and loud at times and bear in mind your paying a very reasonable price for the location. I think some of their reviews here are unfair.

Me and my friend came to Manchester Sat 31 Aug and the staff (Emma) was AMAZING! She was so friendly Upton arrival, not only that when we had a problem with our room she immediately sorted it. Nothing was to much for her and Ville is lucky to have her! |The hotels price is really good for its amazing location. Will be back!

I stayed at a hotel located in the heart of Manchester’s gay district, a lively and energetic area. The location is perfect if you want to be close to the bars, clubs, and restaurants that bring life to the city center, especially on Canal Street, where the party scene is always vibrant. As for the room, it was in good condition—clean and comfortable. However, the bed wasn’t the best part of the experience. Every time I moved, it made a lot of noise, giving the impression it might break at any moment. If you're a light sleeper, this could be a bit of a problem. The area itself is full of energy, but keep in mind that with the festive atmosphere, especially on weekends, the outside noise can be somewhat disruptive if you're looking for peace and quiet.Overall, it’s a good place to stay if you want to enjoy Manchester’s lively surroundings, but it might not be ideal if you’re after complete rest.

My room was on the ground flour. It was a bit noisy as it was facing the road. I got also a bit cold but there was no AC or other heating option that I could turn on. I loved the fact that they had a kettle and a few instant coffee and tea bags.

Absolutely horrific. We arrived in our room to find handles, peeling their coats. A lock completely missing from the bathroom door. A stain dried into the bathroom counter and a thumping music from the bar nearby which plays the same song on repeat. One of the double beds barely meets the requirements of one.

Got in at check in time, two people are on the desk. One guy (had some arm tattoos) one girl (had a ponytail) and I didn’t get their names the guy checked us in, all seemed fine. There were some odd security measures, asked for ID and bank card, but the guy explained what they needed it for, seemed sweet. He was going to put the bank card into the card machine quickly, but the girl made him put it in the photocopier?!?! Made me really uncomfortable and she kept taking to us like she hadn’t done anything. Me and my friends will never be back here, I’d rather just sleep outside in the canal.

We chose to bring children but - despite the staff being very friendly - this was not the most family friendly hotel. …

A perfect place to stay for a night out in Manchester. It’s positioned 10 minutes walk between 2 train stations and close to theatres, in a colourful part of the city. The aquatic centre is only a 15 minute walk away. While it’s not fancy, it’s clean, has the essentials, and a very comfortable bed for a great price. Just missing a bar fridge and shelf in the bathroom. The staff are friendly and helpful and while it’s a little noisy on the street at night with pubs and bars close by, I slept well. I’d definitely stay again.

We booked a room for 3 people. Tiny room with third bed a child's mattress on the floor. Not what it looks like on the website I'm afraid so beawareOur information said if we were unhappy we could check out if we let reception know within 10 minutes. This we did and there was no hassle involved. Unfortunately it did mean having to find alternative accommodation on the day.
