We stayed here only for one night.|The hosts/owners were super friendly.|Our room was amazing. The bed was comfortable (much needed after 4 nights in the camper van) and the heating had been put on for us. …

Friendly & helpful hosts. High standard of finish to rooms & bathrooms. Very comfortable beds. Everything spotless. Good breakfast. Arrived late so didn't get much use of the garden, but midges may have prevented this. …

Great hosts, lovely spacious room with super comfy bed and a modern wet room. Two lounge areas for guests to use, we spent the evening in the upstairs lounge with log fire which was great. Excellent choice at breakfast which was freshly cooked with quality ingredients. Would definitely stay again.

I would have given the hotel 2 out of 5 had it been in a town. I recognise some of the problems could be due to the remote location so have made it 3. …

Lovely building and location, and the breakfast was also very good. We stayed here as part of the NC500 and I think due to being in a more remote location the price was quite a bit higher than the other places we stayed. Whilst it was comfortable, there were a few things that were a bit disappointing compared to the other cheaper places we stayed and so it didn't feel worth the extra cost. First of all out room didn't have any WiFi (it just didn't reach out room) and no TV, which was disappointing after a long day of walking and driving. Our room also didn't have any windows, so ventilation was a bit of an issue. If we had known these things in advance it would've been fine, but it was a bit disappointing after a long day.

I cannot say enough about this immaculate small hotel. We were greeted with coffee and biscuits in the conservatory then a fire lit for us to sit in the upstairs lounge. …

We were very excited by the reviews but disappointed in real life. Rooms and communal areas were dated (the bathroom was modern), the room itself looked onto a shared corridor so you had to draw the curtains for privacy and we were not …

Very welcoming and comfortable. Nice location for touring. Paul and Pauline made our stay very enjoyable and the highlight was feeding the pine martens through the kitchen window. Loads of space with two lounges and huge TV which we seemed to have to ourselves despite other guests being there.

We stayed at the Old Mill last weekend 29-31 of May 2021.The main reason for high rating is the hospitality of owners. They created very welcome homely feeling fir guests in their property.House as B&B at the present well arranged according to the UK Gov requirements for safety & COVID prevention. Owners managed followed by guidelines, but avoided unnecessary restrictions which on these days often spoiling the good time. The owners are friendly and having love and passion for Scotland will give you best advise about routes, attractions and safety measures .On top of it very comfortable beds, beautiful lounges areas with huge collection of books about Scotland's traditions, flora and fauna, maps, ect.Breakfasts is very tasty, cooked by the order perfectly. Haggis and black pudding just a treat.Very good celection of continental breakfast.Although, portion of Scottish Breakfast is really makes us full up with energy for all day activities. This is really hidden gem in the heart of Scotland Highlands. In reality it is looking much better and we wish everyone have this feeling of nice surprise, therefore I won't describe everything.Just go to see/stay there.Thank you very much for hospitality.

This is a small establishment beside Loch Maree, well, not literally overlooking it. …
