A group of us stayed here on Friday evening and were delighted with this hotel. The conman areas of the hotel were very well presented and the rooms were comfortable, what you would expect for £165 per room for a double and £195 per room for a twin. The fixtures and fitting were to a high standard, you could tell that money has been spent here to make your stay comfortable. If you have a keen eye for detail, you'll see what I mean when you stay.Downsides if I had to be very critical.... We booked dinner for 7.30pm and when looking at the menu you could see that it was very keenly priced, I would have been happy to spend more to get some more on my plate and please don't take me wrong, it's not that they were small portions, it's just how it was executed. A couple of us started with mussels in oil which came in a small ramekin with no shells, I have never seen mussels served like this even in France. I would have prefer to spend three times the price (£6.50 cost) and had a traditional bowl of mussels. You need to understand, I am being very critical here. On the breakfast side, everything was great.Would I stay again, absolutely. I may however dine out lol

It was a great experience. We stayed in the hotel for two nights, rooms were very tidy and well organised. We had breakfast and dinner in the dining room and the hostess were very friendly and helpful, and the location was very nice.Only one problem, if you don’t drive your own car then you have to hire a taxi and it costs around £8-10 from the train station and drivers prefer cash. When you stay here you should carry some cash.

Lovely and cute location for the hotel. Choose a room with the view on the Loch - we got a beautiful sunset and full moon :).The hotel has a nice bar where you can enjoy while looking at the Loch. The room is a bit outdated and need some renovation, but still good for one night stay. Would definitely recommend.

Good Hotel. Staff were very friendly. Breakfast was excellent. Great views of the Lochs and Mountains. Unfortunately our room was not facing the Lochs. Strongly recommend getting one facing the Lochs. Conveniently located on the main road and has ample parking. Beds were very comfortable. Room as such was a bit dated - carpet was a bit old and bathroom door was creaking.

Fantastic, situated off the A82, only yards from Loch Linnhe, the rooms with the Loch view are awesome, all the facilities you would expect from a 4/5☆ establishment. The staff are very polite and nothing seems to be too much trouble, breakfast is superb as it's the evening menu. There is one thing to watch out for, as you approach the hotel you need to signal as soon as you see the sign and begin to slow down as the road is busy, and then the car park is rather steep.Worth every penny.

The front bedrooms of the hotel have lovely views across the loch as does the restaurant and some of the reception bar areas. The main road does run in front of the hotel but we didn’t notice any noise at night. Plenty of parking and good WiFi . The hotel team are very friendly, efficient and responsive. The rooms are clean, comfortable, tastefully decorated and look like they have recently had a partial re- furbishment. The bed was very comfortable (super-king) and the sheets and towels nice quality and soft. Everything was very clean. The shower over the bath was the best of that kind I think I have ever had in a hotel! We had a small balcony and had a bit of sun on the day we arrived so could enjoy sitting out. The meal in the evening in the restaurant was very good, and there was plenty of choice for breakfast. A great range of whiskies in the bar to sample too! We would definitely use this hotel again and enjoyed our one night stay.
