I was passing through and only stayed the one night but Chris certainly gave me a warm welcome and made me feel at home! The room was comfortable, clean and everything I needed.||My bike was safely stored in the garage overnight and I enjoyed my cooked breakfast

We were only there for one night but Chris was so welcoming g and the hoyse was lovely and clean and tidy. Our room was the twin but we had our own bathroom and the beds were really Comfortable. Chris hand cooked the delicious breakfast (her home made lemon and orange marmalade is terrific) and was happy to chat and offer her extensive local knowledge and tips on what to see on our bike tour on the NC500. Can really recommend this guest house.

A lovely traditional B &B overlooking the River Shin, very comfortable and welcoming, we had a great time during our stay at Carnbren. Our breakfasts were delicious and filling with lots of choice. Chris was a wonderful host, really friendly and couldn't be more helpful. Would definitely book again.

Chris made us (3 fishermen) welcome from booking to departure and was most accommodating to our "early starts". We asked for evening meals and were very appreciative of variation and quality of meals provided, no fuss just homestyle good cooking. Breakfasts were excellent with choices to suit every taste. Stornoway black pudding at breakfast and soups as starter for evening meals most recommended. Accommodation is excellent with all normal services available at a reasonable price. Highly recommended B&B with an excellent entertaining host.
