Loved our stay here. Perfect location a short walk from bus and train. The cinema/cafe, seafood, bakery and bar are also nearby. Good views from the hill, good friendly workers, and a fair price. Served as a nice base for some hikes.

Great place to stay! Comfy bed, clean room and bathroom. Nice selection of coffee and tea with a couple of biscuits... which is always a nice touch. Friendly service from both guys on the desk. Great value for money. Would definitely stay here again!

This is an extremely basic hotel. The rooms are incredibly small. They are clean. The staff is not overly friendly or helpful. We asked for a hairdryer as there were none in the room. The staff gave us a hairdryer. Approximately three hours later, someone banged very loudly on our door. We waited thinking it was a mistake. They continued to bang loudly on our door. We opened the door and it was the receptionist. He requested the hairdryer be returned as another guest needed it.When we tried to check in at 2 PM, we were told we had to wait until 3 PM. We were told to go sit in the waiting room lounge area. We knew what our room number was going to be (1) which happened to be right beside the lounge area. We went to the room number one. The door was unlocked. We opened it up and it was perfectly cleaned. The manager just refused to check us in until 3 o’clock. My husband went back to the front desk and said look we know the room is clean. Can we just check in early. And then only then did he finally do that after arguing with my husband for about five minutes. Then later suddenly, he was very apologetic and an apologized for acting the way he did. It was a very strange experience as he told us he was the manager. I would not recommend this hotel. It’s clean and it’s pretty cheap. But really try to find anything else. We stayed in Scotland for 5 weeks and this was our only bad experience.

Way overpriced for what you get. The room was terrible, the bed was uncomfortable, all the floors in the entire building squeak whenever anybody walks around so I hope you're not a light sleeper. The TV was tiny, 12 in and the speaker sounded like it was from the 1950s. I've stayed in some real dumps in my day, but usually they're pretty cheap. This place was charging a ton of money and gives you nothing in return. Stay away.

Stayed here with 3 friends in a 4 bed room. We arrived in the early hours as I had ran the West Highland Way race. The room was clean, comfortable, 4 single beds and a lovely on suite shower with clean towels. The location is perfect and there is on site parking.

Location is very good just up the hill from the main street in Fort Wiliiam except for the climb that could seem like climbing Everest. Car parking just across the road. Chargeable, or under the accommodation first come first served. No food, simple lodgings. Was allocated room 9 for accessibly issues but ended up with room 6 which needed tackling a flight of stairs. We managed just. Room was a good size but lacking furniture small table or extra chair would have helped. As a result everything had to packed and unpacked daily. The bathroom was a good size and shower was nice too. The loo roll holder was in a funny place that meant you has to be double jointed to use but we adapted and managed.Would we use again? Maybe. It was quite costly but I suppose it was the height of the season. The creaky floor boards!! I'd shoot the joiner and builder that that!!!

Comfy bed. Easy access. Friendly staff. Central location. Clean. However, no side tables, no seating except a fold up chair. No place to put your luggage to unpack except the floor. No shelves for chargers or kit bag. No hot water tap in the tiny wash basin. Barr bones.

Great staff, clean and warm hotel, and exactly what we needed, and even more than we expected, not luxury, but very functional. We were cold and wet after a full day biking in the rain. The reception guys are fantastic, the bathroom is brand new, water pressure was great, 2 radiators (in the bathroom and the room). The washing and drying was done for us £7.50 for one load, they also have a drying room for jackets and trainers, it was perfect for the purpose. The location is in the centre. Though they don't have a restaurant they have a lounge room with tables and chairs. In the morning we went to the Tesco express, 2 minutes walk away, got coffees, croissants, yogurts and berries and had a breakfast in the lounge. Make sure you book your evening meal in the local restaurants beforehand, we end up with a sandwich instead of nice fish dishes served in local restaurants:(

Reasonable accommodations that could house our part of 5 in one room. Had all that we needed. Staff were helpful and friendly. …
