Our stay at Morar Bed and Breakfast on the Isle of Skye was absolutely unforgettable! The location is stunning, with breathtaking sea views and access to a private beach, offering the perfect Highland escape. One of the highlights was seeing the free-roaming chickens in the large field—they produced the freshest eggs, which we enjoyed for breakfast every morning. It doesn’t get more local than that! The room was beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and cozy, with soft bathrobes that added a luxurious touch. We also loved unwinding by the fireplace in the sitting area after a day of exploring the island, and the indoor heated swimming pool was a wonderful bonus.A special part of our trip was spending the last evening with the hosts on the terrace, sharing a few glasses of whiskey and hearing some incredible life stories. It made us feel truly welcomed and part of their community.Tips for Other Travelers:Just a few minutes' walk from the B&B is a fantastic local pub where we had a delicious dinner and plenty of drinks. We spent the evening chatting with some incredibly friendly locals and playing a few games of pool—it was such a fun, authentic experience! The locals are great friends with the B&B owners, and the atmosphere was lively and welcoming. If you’re looking to experience the warmth and charm of the area, this pub is a must-visit.If you're seeking a peaceful retreat with stunning views, fresh local food, warm hospitality, and friendly locals, Morar Bed and Breakfast is the place to be. We left feeling rejuvenated and can't wait to return!

Whilst on a quieter spot in the island, it was perfectly relaxing stay for us. Kev was very welcoming and full of knowledge and made a great full Scottish breakfast. The homemade gluten free bread was also spectacular. The rooms are very spacious and easily fit 3 adults. Would definitely recommend staying here.

It's a great place to stay. Janey and Kev made us very welcome and went above and beyond to cater to our party. The rooms are beautiful with well thought out touches and a coffee machine!! The grounds are lovely. The swimming pool was a welcome, refreshing addition, too.Breakfast was stunning. There was a lot of choice, with lovely additional touches of homemade bread, compote, muesli, jams, and marmalade and veggie sausages. It was a great place to stay on a quieter and, in my opinion, nicer part of Skye. The grounds were lovely with a walk down to their shoreline. We will definitely visit again. Thank you both for a wonderful stay.
