Can't praise the staff of The Laggan Hotel highly enough. They go above and beyond in looking after their guests. A big thank you to Carly and her team for providing such a great place stay on our East Highland Way walk. Food was excellent. Our room was fabulous with great views of the hills. Highly recommend staying here when in the area.

While I personally did not stay at the Laggan Hotel, my friend and I stumbled upon it after a terrible accident tied up the north bound lane of the A9. Staff helped us get back on the road and to our hotel...but fed us first. Came back later for dinner which was excellent. Staff are definitely the best!

We spent two nights at this lovely little hotel in the Cairngorms. The staff were delightful, and the food each day was excellent. The rooms are a little quirky; think of it more as a charming B&B rather than as a corporate hotel. …

A well run and comfortable hotel, with polite, friendly and helpful staff, follow the manager’s lead. I arrived wet and bedraggled halfway through a cycle trip, and was provided with newspaper for my sodden shoes and a drying (boiler) room for wet clothes. Breakfast and dinner excellent.

This resort is far underrated. The Manager, Carly Lockhart and staff do a fantastic job of maintaining the quality of service. They go to no end to make your stay pleasant. Our room was large and extremely clean. Meals were hot, on time and delicious. Beautiful views, a great place to sit outside and joy nature, but it was rather cool for that at this time of year. I can’t say enough good things about this establishment. It far exceeds the 5 star rated establishments we stayed at in London, Glasgow or other big cities. Don’t pass this place by. It’s rather remote, but worth every penny.

I can't believe this hotel is only 2 star. The location is just stunning, surrounded by mountains. My room was perfect, spotlessly clean, large flat screen tv on the wall, fluffy towels and pristine bedding. …
