Outstanding. Absolutely amazing stay at this BnB. The owner was more than accommodating and so very helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable with a wonderful shower room and toilet room, all of it kept to an impeccable cleanliness standard. The boat itself is well kept and tidy with a spacious living area and dining area for breakfast. The views cannot be beaten with a wonderful mooring on the canal you get beautiful sunrises on one side and stunning sunsets on the other a truly idealic stay at a wonderful boat. Local amenities are close by with a supermarket a 5 minute ealk away and a restaurant even closer, and good access to the city centre as well.

My son recently stayed at The Boat and Breakfast with his dad, and hasn't stopped talking about it since!!The boat was spotless clean and the bed was comfy giving a brilliant night's sleep. Breakfast in the morning was excellent, was made to order with fresh produce. The owner Alex was welcoming and friendly and spoke as if he'd known you for years.Location of the boat was very close to town centre which allows you to walk into the centre.

I will put this out here now: If you are looking for the Hilton, do not book this B&B. Do not book a boat and expect a palace. ||||There, now that is out of the way onto the many, many good bits. …

We were in a rush, so our stay was brief. At first, I wasn't sure why we booked this. The room was small and about as comfortable as you could ever expect a ship to be. I slept poorly, but this wasn't the ships fault. I was still on Los Angels time and slightly sick. The ship was very still. The morning was amazing. Best breakfast we had in our whole Scottish vacation and the info we got from our host was priceless. He was very happy to help us out and teach us how to get around.Would recommend!

Captain Alex is a delight and this was a fun and pleasant place to stay in an otherwise bland city. …

Such a relaxed, friendly and unique way to stay in Inverness. Alex is a wonderfully welcoming and generous host. The beds were really comfy, breakfast was excellent and sets you up for the day. Alex goes above and beyond even giving us a lift into town when it was raining in the morning. I'll definitely be back.
