Being away quite a bit on business, it's easy to get bored with the purple hotel chain.||Dropped on this place whilst looking for something less sterile. This place does not disappoint. …

The Glenmoriston Townhouse Hotel was a lovely place to stay in Inverness. Its location on the banks of the River Ness is perfect for exploring the city on foot. The staff, in particular Lisa, the front desk receptionist, and the restaurant hostess, were very professional, welcoming and helpful. The room was well appointed and clean with a very comfortable bed. The hotel also has a very nice bar and restaurant. We enjoyed a delicious dinner and breakfast. We staff provided great service in a relaxing, romantic setting. I highly recommend this hotel.

After a recommendation from a colleague. My husband and I had a fabulous Anniversary Lunch today. The service and food was exceptional and in particular our waiter Diego who was so attentive. The Espresso Martini was genuinely the best I've ever had, I'm sorry I never got the young gentlemans name who made them both. We would highly recommend.

The hotel is in a fabulous position next to the river and within easy walking distance to town centre, restaurants and theatre. This was the main reason for booking. Expensive for one night with no breakfast included. …

Had to book last minute, so was quite expensive. However, advance rates are really reasonable and offers good value for money. Service was great, breakfast very good and bar was nice in the evening. Hotel is tired in parts, but this is to be expected for this age and type of hotel. Would stay again.

We stopped by for lunch in the middle of our LEJOG excursion. The restaurant staff was very attentive, the food was delicious. Ample parking space. We were nicely surprised by the options of Asian twists in the menu. Loved the duck leg with porridge.

Given no information on check-in, just a key and sent to the annexe. The annexe is a seperaye building like a student house with lots of rooms. The room I got was tiny, FREEZING COLD. Tiniest shower room.  …
