The evening receptionist was great, she gave us tons of good suggestions on places to eat close by the hotel. …

Stayed here as there aren't many options in Fort William. It is in a great location. The young lady who checked me in was pleasant and helpful. The quality of the room doesn't live upto the price it charges though. …

No air conditioning!! This hotel advertises as having it, but that is false advertising. When I told the receptionist that mine must be broken, she informed me that only the hallways/reception have air conditioning, NOT the rooms. What good does a cold hallway and hot and stuffy room do? She then told us that a table top fan is just as good (I have no idea how she said this with a straight face). It was not, my room was still hot and uncomfortable and the fan added an annoying sound to this whole ordeal. I opened my window but then the noisy city was right below me. I would never have booked this hotel if I had known the truth (probably the same for many others) and I suspect that this hotel knew that they would lose business if the website was accurate. This is clearly deliberately misleading advertising in order to fool unsuspecting visitors. Not worth the money. Not the worth the aggravation and a very uncomfortable night.

Relatively new build, clean and tidy, roomy rooms and kindly and friendly staff. Central location and next door to a Wetherspoons if you don't want to think about where to eat. A rough car park at the back and steep slope down to the entrance and caused an elderly member some real difficulty. All the rooms were good but the accessibility room especially so.Later discovered (would be good if this was included in the info) that there is restricted access available by car to the lower entrance before 11am and after 3pmAnd why oh why is there not enough room to put your stuff? No chance of having a glass of water, specs, phone, kindle/book on the bedside table! See photo!

After a bit of a wait for the receptionist to return we were told that because we didn’t book the twin room properly, we were getting a double with a pull out bed. …

Booked an hour before arrival as we’d abandoned the plan to camp in the pouring rain during our NC500 trip. They had enough space to fit 4 of us in two separate rooms. The lady behind the desk was friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and beds were comfy. Best nights sleep we’ve had on our trip. Just what we needed, can’t fault the place!
