It's wonderful that our local - The Stonemasons Inn - is back, having been lovingly restored and refurbished by new owners who clearly know what they're doing. Lovely team behind the bar and serving. We went for a family meal for six on a Saturday night at 7.30pm, having booked just a few hours beforehand. It was busy but the pub has a great atmosphere with fab live music later on in the evening. Our food was delicious and arrived in good time. We'll certainly be back. Looking forward to cosy-log-fire season!Thank you!

Once again, I find myself at this lovely country pub, The Stonemasons Inn. I had Sunday lunch here about a month ago, and decided to try a weekday lunch this time. I was not disappointed—everything was first class. The service was excellent, the ambiance was great, and the chicken supreme was absolutely stunning. The staff are very attentive, and the music is perfectly suited to the clientele. The cosy fire adds a welcoming touch. The menu has a fantastic selection, so I’ll definitely be back! I forgot to mention the homemade honey and wholegrain mustard ice cream - absolutely amazing.

We stopped off here for Sunday lunch on the off chance, there was no room in the restaurant but we had a good table in the bar area. What a fantastic atmosphere and a lovely welcome. The staff were rushed off their feet but were so helpful and attentive. Wow the meal was so yummy, delicious, well cooked, tasty with Yorkshire puddings to die for. It’s only recently re-opened but the effort put in has been worth it - and real towels in the washrooms - nice touch. We were made to feel special and clearly there is a strong team of staff backing up a convivial front of house. We shall be visiting again that’s for sure.

Had the best pub burger I’ve had in a long time. They’re doing this French dipping technique thing which just hits different. The beef burger itself was great. Plenty of grainy mustard mayo and then they give you a dish of sauce to dip chips and burger into. The patty was well cooked and the bun was perfect. Salad also fresh. I had peppercorn sauce to dip. It was delicious. Highly recommend. Keep it up chefs want to see this kind of burger develop!

The best Sunday roast beef lunch I ever had! The meat was die-for tender, plenty of well cooked veg, and the ice cream desert supreme. Service was speedy and the staff friendly. What more could we ask. The new landlord really deserves to succeed.
