I spent a couple of nights in the Botanical room which is very spacious and comfortable with its large bow window. It also has a toilet and shower next to it. The house has a warm welcoming atmosphere, you can feel it is lived in by artists who immediately make you feel at home in a relaxing, fuss free attitude. The view from the sitting room and kitchen is really beautiful as is the lovely intriguing garden. It is well located, in the center of Forest Row, yet set back from the main street behind a row of trees and the private car park. If I return to the area I would certainly go back tho The Elms B&B and strongly recommend it. Enjoy your stay if you follow my advice (:-))

I keep on coming back to Mieke's Elms... it's like getting addicted to the wonderful peace and warmth of the place. Mieke has this unique talent to make one feel at home, comfortable and beautifully cared for. The house is bright, comfy, always opened to new friends. The rooms are spacious and the beds welcoming. I loved taking my bath in the old stunning bathtub ! The breakfast was as orgasmic as it was healthy, sitting at the big long friendly table. If one is in search of a perfect healing and relaxing environment to spend a couple of days then there is no better place !

I spent the night at Elms Bed and Breakfast just recently and I cannot recommend both the room and the owner highly enough! The room itself was an absolute delight; very tasteful, peaceful and one of the most comfortable nights sleep I can remember. The owner, Mieke, was warm and welcoming and made us feel very comfortable and put on the most beautiful spread next morning at breakfast. Thank you for such a wonderful stay! Would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area who is looking for something with taste, beauty and warmth.

A clean, quiet, artistic retreat in the heart of Forest Row, with generous and welcoming hosts, organic breakfast and brilliant coffee. Highly recommend this oasis. We stayed for 6 nights - I and two daughters in their early-twenties - and we all loved it. Nearby night life in walking distance for them, and fabulous sheets and roomy bedroom with a fireplace and cosy comfy bed for a good night's sleep for me. There is even a lovely garden with a small pond! My room on the ground floor was huge . The girls' first floor room was a bit smaller, but still generous, with a lovely four-poster bed. Everything kept clean as a whistle by the Dutch hostess, Mieke. Walking distance to lovely shops, country walks, excellent cafes and restaurants (recommend Helin and Taffel's) Tablehurst Farm and Michael Hall School. We can't wait to go back - Five Stars+!

Mieke is the best! We love her house and the vibe of her place. Right in the center of Forest Row within walking distance of several farms and Michael Hall. Also close to East Grinstead by bus with onward connections to London. Would strongly recommend you stay at this relaxing place if you get the chance!

Mieke's B&B was a warm and welcoming place to stay. We had the Botanical Room, a beautiful spacious and cosy room with a high ceiling and wood burning stove. Breakfast was equally nourishing for both body and mind! Thank you Mieke!

This location is ideal for exploring the nature who is find near the Forest Row. It's a very nice house with a garden where you can relax and see the squirrel passed near the terrace from time to time. I was very well received by the warm family and I have a good memory of this place.
