We stayed here for a long weekend with my parents and two dogs and had a lovely time. The location is ideal for a 10-15 minute walk into Hassocks and it's adjoining station which has direct access to Brighton & London. Equally, the main road into Brighton & beyond is just 5 minutes back up the road. We stayed in Cedar lodge which was more then spacious, with us both having our own bathrooms. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had every utensil you could think of for whether you're doing a fry up or baking a cake. The living area was ample and homely feeling, we will definitely be returning in the future as there's more of the area we'd like to explore and we'd want each day to end with a stay in one of South Downs Lodges

We stayed in Holly Lodge in March 2024 and had a lovely stay. The lodge is well equipped and very clean. The bedroom is a good size with a queen size bed. There is a walk in closet and a huge bathroom with a lovely bath. The shower has good pressure and gets hot quite quickly. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need. There is a full size iron and ironing board as well as a washer dryer and dishwasher too. Dishwasher tablets are provided but washing machine detergent/tablets are not.The hot tub is lovely with powerful jets and can seat 3 comfortably with views out to the South Downs. Bath robes / towels are provided. The location is good for going into Brighton with the station only a 15 minute walk and 2 stops away. The site is just off of a busy road but we didn't really hear much road noise, especially when inside. There are some country walks nearby that you can walk to.The staff were pleasant and have done a fantastic job with this site. We will be returning, thank you 🙂

Stopped in Oak Lodge for the week with the family.Very well equipped and clean and a superb base to get out and about. 15 minute walk to Hassocks Station with regular services to both Brighton and Central London. The garden centre next door does a wonderful breakfast and is worth a browse.Easy access to local pubs, takeaways and to the local supermarket in Burgess Hill.Well worth a stay and somewhere we will consider again in the future.

Just back from a lovely long weekend at Willow Lodge. The Lodge was immaculately clean. The bed was very comfortable. The veranda was lovely to sit out on with beautiful views of the Downs. The Hot Tub was a real bonus. …
