Really enjoyed our impromptu stop on our way back home. Popped in for a drink and some crisps with the family and ended up staying for dinner! Nice atmosphere, good beer and great food - would recommend.

We will never stay here again. Extremely distressing end to our stay. Ruined the trip completely. There is no check out system at this pub. …

Went with friends for a meal at this lovely pub. We were surprised at how quiet it was for a Saturday night, but apparently, it gets very busy on Friday evenings & and Sundays. The meals are great & very plentiful. In fact, my husband & I decided to share a starter the next time we visit. Which we will. The staff were attentive without being too obvious & and there when we needed drink refills. We all agreed the food was great. Between us, we had main courses of steamed meat pudding, steak, gammon, curry & vegetable curry. So, a good selection. A great experience & one we will use again

Stopped here for 5 nights for work. Rooms cosy and clean. IPad screen larger than the tv in the room tho. Staff very friendly and a great laugh. Food in bar/restaurant was excellent and keenly priced. Good beers. Ample car parking to rear. All set in a nice quiet village.

We booked the Robin Hood for a birthday/father's day celebration with a party of 13 on a Sunday afternoon. Our party wasn't simple including vegetarians, vegans and various other complications but the staff and kitchen were great and really helpful. All the food was lovely, with most of the menu options tried, and with plenty of fresh vegetables brought to the table.A thoroughly enjoyable meal and experience for everyone in a good environment.
