We enjoyed a fabulous Sunday lunch here on Sunday, the hotel settings are stunning, such a beautiful area.Loads of parking , beautiful grounds, great for photographs, especially weddings!!We were warmly welcomed by reception and shown to our table, good choice of menu and separate children’s menu available even on Sunday. The carvery was delicious, good selection of meats and veg to choose from, all served pipping hot.The restaurant staff were all friendly and efficient.I would recommend it here and will definitely be returning.

A beautiful location. A lovely part of wales. Great views. Great people. |The rooms are great, a mixture of old and modern combined. Very spacious, The Staff are very helpful. Only one downside my wife has trouble with stairs and with no lifts or a stair lift she did struggle. But she still enjoyed it.|Food and wine are great.

I booked an afternoon tea with buy a gift as a gift for my wife and daughter which I ended up tagging along (I do love cake and sandwiches). The Ty Newydd is set amongst the trees in an idyllic part of the country. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The afternoon tea had plenty of choice from sandwiches, pasties, sausages rolls, crisps, scones and a few other bits.

Went to Ty Newydd today (02/11/2024) for a 'sparkling' afternoon tea booked via Groupon. It more than exceeded expectations - would thoroughly recommend. Special thanks to Connor (who served us) nothing was too much trouble for him 🤗.

Lovely room, very friendly lady at reception, and relaxed atmosphere. Food was well presented and tasted lovely. Moreso pub food but it was far better than standard pub food. ||The bed was comfortable and there was a lively view of the garden. Would recommend.

The staff were lovely and very helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The food is excellent. We rated it a 4 as it does need some attention in places. For example massive pot holes in the drive and some of the rooms need some TLC in the decoration.

Stayed here while we visited the Penderyn Distillery just up the road. Lovely building and location. On arrival staff were very friendly and helpful. We were late to dinner after a long 3 hour drive but the restaurant staff were most accommodating. Rooms are not modern but in keeping with the character of the building. We had a nice big room at one far end of the hotel, the furthest away possible from a loud music event which was appreciated. Breakfast was nice and easy. Woukd definitely stay again of in the area!

This is a lovely small and friendly establishment. We attended a wedding and stayed the night in one of their delux twin rooms, very comfortable. Staff were incredibly welcoming, professional and helpful. We need to support these little businesses. ||Thanks to all the staff of Ty Newydd County Hotel ❤️||Julie King
