Nice old Victorian hotel, with attractive public areas and a handy private car park (rare in Tenby). We were given a large, well decorated and furnished room, though at the back, with views of flat roof, aircon etc. Since scaffolding covered the front, a sea view room was perhaps not worth it anyway.Good shower, but small TV and dips in the mattress which gave me backache.Great breakfast in a large room with an excellent selection and good service. No evening meals available, but plenty of restaurants around. All staff were lovely, helpful and efficient.

I return time and again to the Atlantic. A warm and helpful staff make my stay lovely. It is right on the promenade but there seems to be no problem with noise or overcrowding. …

Hotel very clean and well kept. Unfortunately when we visited they were having a new roof done, work not carried out on weekend but on the Monday. Language from workmen was awful and was glad we hadn't booked a sea view/no sea view due to scaffolding and building works. Breakfast, buffet style with lovely selection. Rooms are very small and very hot, although the weather wasn't very warm outside and no fans made it very stuffy. Car park extremely tight spaces which works on first come, first serve basis which is chargeable. Upon leaving in the pouring rain and with our belongings, we were met with a notice for £50 charge on vehicle and blocked in by a builders van and no builders in sight. Would assume they would take payment from card details they already had from booking. Partner went in to ask staff, waited outside for 15 mins unable to get in car. Builder then came out and asked US whether we had paid the £15 charge. He informed us he was told to block us in by receptionist. We now have a 100 mile trip home in wet clothes.

I turned up at 1am and was given a room immediately whilst no other hotels in the area were taking any bookings. Great service, lovely room and amazing breakfast in the morning. Staff are very professional and friendly, I will definitely stay here again.

Great family room for four as a family. Lovely big bathroom. Tea and coffee available with cold water in the fridge, this was a nice touch as the weather was so hot. Lovely robes with slippers available. My only complaint would be that the guests above us or next to us were a bit loud and some jumping going on. This kept us awake until the noise stopped.

Amazing location, amazing breakfast. Staff are very professional and curtious. The pool booking system is also great allowing me and my girlfriend our own privacy to enjoy the pool facilities. I would book again as it made a cheapskate like me feel rich for a couple of nights 🙂

The hotel is old well taken care of and beautiful inside. Outside was being refurbished at the time I was there. Their breakfast in the morning is fantastic and you could order from a menu additional breakfast items. The staff very helpful and nice.

We've been staying at the Atlantic Hotel for a number of years, and the hotel itself is well located and very nice. However, we've had an awful experience on our latest visit. When I called to book I was quoted a price, which I thought was extremely reasonable, but the staff failed to disclose all the other charges that applied/a breakdown of the costs. When we were checking in we had to pay twice as much as the price originally quoted. That came as a real shock and left a big dent in our budget (which would have covered our holiday expenses)! I went back to reception, after putting our stuff in the room, to request a breakdown of our bill...there were about 5 members of staff at the reception and they all got on their toes, however, they were still not clear about how we had to pay nearly double the price! I feel that there has been a clear lack of communication, honesty and transparency about the price. There was no genuine attempt to apologise for all the above. This was indeed a very disappointing experience and I have to say that we will be looking elsewhere to stay in Tenby in the future.P.S. We chose to stay in this hotel to celebrate my birthday, however, bar a nice meal at a restaurant on my birthday, we practically lived on meal deals due to the shortcomings!

Room was very clean, Staff very polite and nice, breakfast choices were great, has a swimming pool which was excellent, has a lift which was very handy for my disabled gf. Lovely hotel garden across the road from the hotel, (that the staff are willing to bring guests drinks and snacks) overlooks the beach. Couldn't fault it in any way and i'm quite fussy.
