We had a fabulous few days at this lovely peaceful woodland campsite. Spotlessly clean facilities. Spacious pitches. Friendly and helpful hosts. Close to public transport links if you don’t want to take the car. We will definitely be back.

What a fantastic hidden gem of a campsite! We booked relatively short notice for a weekend break with family and were thrilled to find they had space. …

As always we adore this campsite. Designed for the comfort and privacy of the camper, not maximum profit, you get a generous plot to call your own so no neighbours are camped right next to you. Toilet and showers kept immaculate. Albert always on hand in case of emergencies (our airbed exploded!). Both tents and campervans welcome. About a mile walk to Angmerring where there are resteraunts, cafes, pubs and shops and an indian take away that delivers to the site. Deer, rabbits and other wildlife often seen on site. Lovely little wood to walk around and try to spot deer although to be fair they often come walking round the tents! Thankyou Albert, we had a great time despite it raining every day!

Quiet campsite with nice view and large pitches.2 buildings with showers and toilets. The older one is rather basic and outdated.Building to sit inside for the evening is comfotable but in there there are no facities at all. Also no further activity is organised.Therefor the campsite has a rather boring atmosphere. Also rather many male guest alone which doesn't help for the atmosphere.Guests with tent are asked to move there tent after 7 days which is very unpleasant so very guest-unfriendly.We were asked to pay in advance which we think is rather unpleasant as camping should give freedom. We never experienced this while camping for decades in 10 other countries. As a result we think £ 37 per night is too expensive.Women/owner was very kind and helpfull with hiking information.

Let me explain the 9.5 first. I would have given this camp site a 10 but for one thing, the road noise. Right next to a dual carriageway and main feeder road, the traffic noise was annoyingly audible all day and night.  …

Great little site, quiet and peaceful. Great hosts, however we now can't return as the is a limit on tourers of 7m and we have just purchased a new caravan that is 7.4m, not a lot but thems the rules, we will miss not being able to use this site.

A lovely secluded site in a grassy area surrounded by trees. Very private (no camping signs outside). A very warm welcome from the couple who run the site who are helpful as hosts should be.  …

Lovely well kept little campsite. Each pitch is large and with electrics and the toilets/showers are spotlessly clean. Albert is great with local knowledge and advise. The local Indian restaurant delivers to your tent/caravan. Will definitely being coming again.

Was here as needed to go to meeting in Brighton and seemed perfect excuse for a mini break in motorhome. |This was a perfect idyll in its own woods with a great recycling regime and very, very clean shower block. …

Nice quite campsite. Clean. Bit of a walk to train station. Buses are available locally. We had a great visit this summer, local pubs have great food. Taxi to Arundel is not to expensive as we learnt after the trains let us down on the Sunday. Would definitely stay again. Nice base.
