Wild Heart Hill is a magical place to stay in the South Downs! I stayed here with my 7 year old for a couple of nights and we had the best time! We explored the woods next to the site and walked to Findon. …

What a beautiful location and a lovely host! The views are awesome and so peaceful. The facilities need improvement, found slugs in the shower and the toilet slugs. The shower also doubles as a toilet so you have to move the toilet roll outside or risk getting it wet. The shower was hot though & nice once in.The washing up area would also benefit from a roof/some protection from the rain.

We have stayed at wild heart on multiple occasions and always found the campsite to be lovely. The shower is hot with good water pressure, the toilets are clean, there is a sink for washing up, and walks and woods just off of the back of the site with rope swings. Jose is a lovely host and always makes booking very easy. Thanks for having us Jose, I'm sure we'll be back!

A well run, peaceful campsite. There is some road noise, but it’s not at all intrusive. There are country walks direct from the site. The facilities are basic but functional. Owner came to see us a couple of times over a 4 night stay and is very friendly. Site is very tolerant of dogs (and here were some lovely, well behaved dogs there when we stayed). Fire pits are a great idea.

Cracking simple campsite. Some excellent walks straight from the site. Decent shower but need to time it right to avoid the busy periods. Site owner is super-friendly too which is a bonus. Field is on a bit of a slope so need to chose carefully if you are in a camper but plenty of space to chose from.

Great place for chilling in a valley like setting with plenty of ground to explore. Bohemian vibe. Rustic shower but it was soooo good. Dogs can run around as long as they're not wallies.

A camping site bar none. Nestled in the midst of the verdant South Down Nature Reserve. Not a large camping site so not over populated. The owner is a spectacular host and nothing is too much trouble. If it's being steeped in nature you are looking for this is your spot and just down the road in Old Findon village is the most wonderful independent pub that serves mouthwatering food if you fancy a treat. Or sit around your fire pit of an evening listening out for the owls as the moon looks down over the wild hill. The owner, Jose, has a few glamping bell tents which I ha e used numerous times now. She decks them out so beautifully with fresh flowers, super memory foam bed, sumptuous bedding and towls even down to pretty fairy lights in the outside awning. So much thought and care is put into making your stay a memorable experience ✨️

We had the absolute pleasure to come to Wildheart! Not only are the grounds a stunning area of distinct natural beauty, but the owner, Jose, is one of the kindest and most thoughtful individuals we have had the pleasure to meet! …

Brilliant campsite! We had the warmest welcome as we arrived, and we were able to chose where to camp as a group. We bbq’d and used a fire pit both nights so the kids were entertained by toasting marshmallows.Beautiful surroundings and probably the nicest ‘shed’ toilet and shower I’ve ever seen. We’ll be back again next year, thanks for having us!
