Andrew is very friendly and welcoming, it's all very olde world like stepping back in time. Mel serves breakfast with the help of a marvelous dumb waiter, it was lovely. The bathroom was lovely and clean with brilliant shower, clean towels whenever you wanted. The bed was a little low for me but that's personal preference. Tea making facilities and top ups freely available. Hotel is near the paddling pool so quite a walk to the pier, good fish and chip shop 5 mins away

I was insulted at the meet and greet stage, not a very nice host.|This establishment has not moved on from the covid era.|Breakfast time was a farce having to ask for more milk for cereals and tea. …

Really friendly hosts and great location for me personally as it's away from the usual crowds of people and its a lovely nice walk ( weather permitting) to the pier. Breakfast was simple to pre order and was really fresh when it was served . My only gripe is the room as it was a bit old fashioned and the bed was very squeeky and mattress was a bit hard . Window was dirty on outside too which spoilt the perfect view a little bit .. I'd still come back though as it was great value for money.. Many thanks 😊

There was something wrong with our shower - water was still really hot even when the dial was turned down to the coldest setting, so wasn't the best shower to have after a hot day at the beach. …

Title speaks for itself. Very warm welcome from Paula, and Andrew came and said 'hello' the following day to check all was well. ||Fabulous location on the promenade and I suspect the views from the upper double rooms is amazing. …
