We loved everything about this hotel. We stayed in a rooftop room - what a view! What luxury! An excellent bathroom. A huge, comfy bed. I think all other rooms after this will pale into insignificance. …

A very comfortable stay for four nights in a Classic Sea View room. The location is lovely and we really enjoyed the view and the proximity to the promenade, indulging in a little people watching and dog spotting (of which there are many in …

What a gem of a find. I’ve walked past the hotel many times on previous visits and thought it looked inviting. Fantastic dog friendly hotel. One of the warmest and informative reception welcomes we ever had when travelling. Delicious fresh food on the menu, friendly service, and I especially valued the Welsh 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 refreshments in the room. As if that wasn’t enough, Elemis bathroom toiletries made my day and stay. Attention to detail is a winner for me and there’s even free parking close by.

Just home after a night at the Bay Hotel on a trip to the theatre. Cannot praise them enough, from the moment we arrived, the receptionist was lovely, we checked in our room which was spotless then went down for a drink where we were met by Liam. He made our stay, couldn't do enough for us, nothing was too much trouble and all with a smile and chat. All the staff were the same but as we mostly dealt with Liam, 10/10 for him. The evening meal was lovely and also breakfast. We loved every minute there and would recommend The Bay Hotel to anyone.

Great hotel, beautifully decorated. Room was clean, stocked fridge with water and milk, comfortable bed, massive TV, Great view overlooking the sea, staff were great.Food in the bar was amazing but I'm sorry to say breakfast was poor.We had it in our room, husbands cooked breakfast was tiny, the smallest I've seen for £15.My fault for not ordering more from the menu but my scrambled eggs on toast were £15!Other than this we had a lovely time and we would definitely come back

This hotel is in a very good location for taking long walks along the shore. We had a nice room (renovated with modern decor) for our one-night stay which faces the sea with a bay window; it was lovely to sit in the comfortable chairs and …

Stayed 1 night here. Its a really nice hotel. Not too far out and not too close to the centre. Our room was a little small but okay for 1 night, also a little dusty. We did have seagulls pecking out window at 4am.Food was good! Pizza & Thai Curry where good. We also thought the breakfast was great. A good variety & choice.Free parking on the front, however its a first come, first serve basis. The town is about a 15 minute walk away.A pleasant stay.

Normally I wouldn’t go out my way to write a review relating to a business trip, however I’m making an exception as I want to commend the service from the gentlemen on reception - I think his name is Kane???He is a stellar example of an employee that’s customer centric and efficient at the same time. He was friendly and efficient during check-out with genuine small talk (which I always find is hard to come by in the UK hospitality industry). What’s making me write this review though is what I observed during / after my check-out. I had to stick around for an online meeting and therefore was in the lobby. On multiple occasions I could see him talking to guests and interacting with them with a genuine interest, providing helpful advice and overall great customer service. He’ll probably remember the interaction with a guest called Norma at the same time I was checking out.In terms of the hotel itself:- The rooms are modern with stylish decor. They could do with A/C, but I appreciate it’s not very common in the UK.- Hotel terrace outside and lobby inside are also big plus points. Love the cocoon chairs outside and the comfy indoor seating area. Will be staying here again for business or leisure!
