All the reviews say the same thing, the staff are really friendly, professional and proud of this great hotel. Well done.Hotel was nice, area is nice, the receptionist gave us great advice on the local bars etc, we had a wonderful time. Can't believe Travelodge sold the place, but knowing their staff, I know why! ;)

The hotel is exactly what you’d expect for a budget hotel, it’s basic but great value. Location wise it’s spot on, right next to the marina with plenty to choose from for dining. Or if you want a cheap night out there’s a decent Wetherspoons next door, but don’t let that put you off as it’s not noisy or rowdy and is perfect for a budget breakfast.Definitely wouldn’t advise paying the £8 for the ibis breakfast bag when there’s so many nice options nearby for a proper cooked breakfast

Basically attached to a Lidl, but don't let that put you off. The staff were lovely, the room was basic but clean...bed, bathroom & TV. The location great. Next to the nice marina, with lots of eating places. A very short walk into the town with shops, pubs and eats. Bristol a bus ride away and free parking on Lidl car park. What's not to like. Enjoyed our stay and would book here again.

We stopped at the hotel on our way down to visit friends in Cornwall to break our journey. The hotel, which was then Ibis, was great value for money. The location is great with the marina across the road, several restaurants and a Lidl, Home Bargins, and a Waitrose very close by. The staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable with a comfortable bed and a good shower in the bathroom. All in all, I'd recommend staying there.

Can’t fault this place for the price considering it is a budget hotel, you get what you pay for!Although staff are brilliant. I was having my bathroom done in my flat so had stay for a few nights. They were very helpful in accommodating me for extra nights added on that I needed. Will in particular, at reception has been fantastic, he even opens the door for you, makes it feel like a 5 star hotel the way you’re treated by staff members! Would definitely stay here again if I have any other work done!

Rooms are sparse and unwelcoming. My room had someone else’s long hairs on the carpet for the 3 nights I stayed. The staff are friendly, efficient and helpful and the price is reasonable considering the local alternatives. Parking is free and convenient. The location is central to Portishead and very close to most things you could need.

You tend to lower your expectations when you book your stay at any budget hotels. Especially when you stay for 8 days like i did. What makes the difference is that my room is cleaned eveyday. The team are friendly and helpful. The location really suits me.I can't complain at all but I hoghly recommend.

A typical Ibis Budget hotel but right in the heart of the Marina. Clean & tidy but very basic. The staff were very helpful. The breakfast price was laughable considering it is bang next door to Wetherspoons
